Living While Black: Police attack men for sitting, not resisting, not walking, pockets.

Police punches unarmed black woman 15 times as the attack is caught on ...11: The Week Before
only thing missing from recent attacks from the 60's 70's dogs and water hoses

Incident 1: Sitting while black in a public space.
The African-American man was sitting outside a store, waiting for his kids to get out of school. The store clerk got nervous - a black man sitting! For ten minutes! - so he called the police. When the police arrived, they demanded his ID. He didn't comply:
The man in the video tells the officer he was sitting in front of the store for 10 minutes as he waited for his kids to get out of school, and that the area is public and he had a right to sit there.
“The problem was —” the female officer begins.
“The problem is I’m black,” the man fires back. “It really is, because I’m not sitting there with a group of people. I’m sitting there by myself. By myself, not causing a problem.”
Eventually a second male officer approaches the man in the video and attempts to restrain him.
“I’ve got to go get my kids,” the man tells the second officer, pulling his arm away. “Please don’t touch me.”
“You’re going to go to jail then,” the second officer says.
“I’m not doing anything wrong,” the man replies.
At this point, both officers grab the man.
“Come on brother,” the man says, “This is assault.”
“I’m not your brother,” the second officer replies. “Put your hands behind your back otherwise it’s going to get ugly.”
Eventually the officers start to cuff the man and he drops his cellphone and the video goes black.
“I haven’t done anything wrong!” we hear the man yell. “Can somebody help me? That’s my kids, right there! My kids are right there!”
“Put your hands behind your back!” the male officer screams.

should law be that citizens have to be compliant to police irrational or not does that then make us duplicitous to our own fate under the heel of police?  police can be quite anal when you state your case as not violating law they then lead those outraged into a form of entrapment that can lead to their brutality others cut to the chase and go for the juggler right off no fuss no muss just straight up aggressiveness.  we've seen the video of non confrontational being beaten and shot as we saw with Mike Brown surrender does not stop the blood letting.

Republicans poll women, are told they're 'stuck in the past'

A detailed report commissioned by two major Republican groups — including one backed by Karl Rove — paints a dismal picture for Republicans, concluding female voters view the party as “intolerant,” “lacking in compassion” and “stuck in the past.”
The only real surprise here is that Republicans bothered to actually check what women think of them. Republicans do have an edge among married women, but otherwise, it's tough going for them, issue by issue:
When female voters are asked who “wants to make health care more affordable,” Democrats have a 39 percent advantage, and a 40 percent advantage on who “looks out for the interests of women.” Democrats have a 39 percent advantage when it comes to who “is tolerant of other people’s lifestyles.”

Female voters who care about the top four issues — the economy, health care, education and jobs — vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. Most striking, Democrats hold a 35-point advantage with female voters who care about jobs and a 26 percent advantage when asked which party is willing to compromise. House Republicans say jobs and the economy are their top priorities.
The GOP answer to their deficit with women on the issues is dishonesty: First, claim that Republicans totally support fairness for women even if they don't support actual equal pay legislation. But before they ask exactly how Republicans are going to promote fairness, distract women from the discrimination they face from above by getting them to blame other women who are struggling, accusing Democrats of "growing government programs that encourage dependency rather than opportunities to get ahead."
In short, it's "welfare queen" talk under another name. Second, acknowledge disagreements about abortion and then change the subject real fast. Third, try to find a few economic issues where Republicans can make it sound like their policies provide answers—talk about job training and the like, as if being trained for jobs is a good answer to anything when there are no jobs.

I have always been baffled at how women married or single can support a party that obviously has none of their issues on a to do list and demonize the Dems for doing so and always putting their needs on the to do list, there really is a war against women those women who deny i can't speak to their motive except to say they are in a circular firing squad  and blindfolded they are not shooting themselves in the foot they are killing rights and potentially many women by siding with the enemy I see these women as collaborators like those who collaborated with the Nazi's WWII, not a lot of difference.

Police Officer Accused Of Letting Dog Urinate On Michael Brown Memorial In Ferguson

if I were White and lived in a place like Ferguson I would fear the police any one who can be as disrespectful and racist as these guys have presented themselves to the world how many inches do you think are between what they do to majority Blacks and "YOU"?

A memorial has popped up near where Michael Brown was shot by officer Darren Wilson. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

For the past few weeks, the spot where Michael Brown was shot and killed by Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson has had a steady stream of visitors and mourners, many of whom leave mementos such as flowers, stuffed animals and signs. Just blocks from West Florissant Avenue, which became known for large protests and clashes with police, this memorial site has been an area of calm and remembrance.

This tension was on display at the memorial site on Aug. 9 after Brown's shooting. According to Mother Jones:
Soon, police vehicles reappeared, including from the St. Louis County Police Department, which had taken control of the investigation. Several officers emerged with dogs. What happened next, according to several sources, was emblematic of what has inflamed the city of Ferguson, Missouri, ever since the unarmed 18-year-old was gunned down: An officer on the street let the dog he was controlling urinate on the memorial site.
The incident was related to me separately by three state and local officials who worked with the community in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. One confirmed that he interviewed an eyewitness, a young woman, and pressed her on what exactly she saw. "She said that the officer just let the dog pee on it," that official told me. "She was very distraught about it." The identity of the officer who handled the dog and the agency he was with remain unclear.
Missouri state Rep. Sharon Pace (D) also told Mother Jones that police initially blocked all traffic from entering the street where Brown was shot, but their vehicles were still allowed. According to Pace, police drove over the rose petals that had been scattered at the site, leading some residents to try to block the police vehicles from driving in.

Obama vs. Bush: Who Took More Presidential Vacations?

Q: Is it true that George W. Bush took more vacation days than Barack Obama?
A: Yes. Before his two-week trip to Martha’s Vineyard in August, Obama’s count was 125 full or partial days and Bush’s total at the same point in his presidency was 407.

FULL ANSWER
We last dealt with the who-took-more-vacation question in January 2010, at which point Obama had spent 26 days on “vacation” during his first year in office, fewer than the first year totals for Presidents Bush, George H.W. Bush or Ronald Reagan. Our numbers are all courtesy of CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, who has covered every president since Gerald Ford and tracks the commander in chief’s travel.
But, as we noted then, presidents never fully escape from the job. Knoller told us he doesn’t consider these days away from the White House real “vacation” days. He said then in an email: “I have long held the view that a US president is never really on vacation. The job — and its awesome powers and responsibilities — is his wherever he is and whatever he’s doing.”

Still, much is made of these presidential vacation days — and how to count them. Knoller doesn’t include visits to Camp David, the presidential retreat in Maryland often used to host foreign leaders. On Aug. 8, the day before Obama left for Martha’s Vineyard, Knoller tweeted that Obama had spent 125 full or partial days on vacation, and at the same point in Bush’s president, he had spent 381 days at his Texas ranch plus 26 days at his parents’ home in Kennebunkport, Maine, for a total of 407.
When we emailed Knoller on Aug. 26, Obama was up to 140 days by his count. Bush’s total for his two terms in office is 533 days, which includes 490 at the ranch and the rest at Kennebunkport. For comparison’s sake, President Bill Clinton’s total is 174 days, and Reagan hit 390 (349 at his ranch and 41 in Palm Springs), according to Knoller.
Adding in Camp David visits would bring Obama’s total to date to 223 (that’s 83 days at Camp David) and Bush’s total for his entire time in office to 1,024 (491 days at the presidential retreat).

okay we can maybe accept FACT CHECK with reporting truthfully but even though these are facts there are people who will ignore and still try to beat him up on his fewer everything then previous White Presidents that it wasn't so much an issue unless it was a election year.  please investigate before you rate believe half of what you see and all or none of what you hear. everybody is not wrong, but we've come to know who is in this society.

O'Reilly: Welfare Culture, White Condescension, Gangster Rappers, And Beyoncé Have Harmed Black

http://mediamatters.org/video/2014/08/26/oreilly-welfare-culture-white-condescension-gan/200562
O'REILLY: I agree that the welfare culture and the pandering and the condescension by the white establishment to poor blacks has harmed them economically. But it's more than that. You remember Motown. Do you not? Wasn't that a fabulous, fabulous music industry, uplifting? You remember Jackie Robinson and Willie Mays. Weren't they fabulous athletes -- I idolized Willie Mays. And what do we have now? What do we have now? Gangster rappers, you know,  Beyoncé. The most famous, you know, doing these videos that show these kinds of things to young, 9, 10, 11-year-old girls? I mean -- and it's celebrated. It's celebrated. You know, that's the big change.

White condescension their only contribution to the Black plight?  we also know he's had a long time jealousy thing with rappers who have more money than him so his lecherous nature makes him want to demean Beyonce probably has day and night dreams about her.

i wondered if he would comment on the 9 year old that people like him put that uzi in her hands what about the harm to her or those kids that saw Mike Brown bleeding out in the street for 5 hours.  nah Beyonce is his choice, condescension does not hurt economically Bilo republican denial and safety net cutting does.  in case you wonder i left out the token house "N" on purpose his 2 cents only works on the right wing base.

Fox Gives Anti-Immigrant Group A Platform To Suggest Immigrant Women Will Lie About Domestic Abuse To Get Asylum

Supporters of the Violence Against Women Act rally in Washington, DC.

women of America consider that republicans are assuming you guys will react a certain way to atrocity's visited on you and that these things are mostly what they are doing to you by blaming you they think it exonerates them.  i've been long time of the mind that they support rape and assault on you, as egregious as those things are they took it a few steps further by allowing the rapist visitation and custody rights if that is not support what about how long it took them to sign the violence against women's act.

in my opinion like Texas and those border states they do as they please with immigrant women those laws are designed to nullify charges of their deeds by claiming the women are lying before the crime they commit  takes place, in case you forgot they used this ploy first on American women citizens, remember the contraception fiasco's and their crude remarks and accusations of lying to get help from gov't?

What The NRA Says After A 9-Year-Old Shot An Instructor With An Uzi

i wondered what if anything the NRA and republicans would say in response to the latest tragedy looks like republicans are echoing cricket chirps while the NRA not backing away from their stance that gun posession is more important that human life.

Fox's Newest Benghazi Special Hopes To Answer A Question That Has Been Answered Repeatedly

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/08/27/foxs-newest-benghazi-special-hopes-to-answer-a/200571

Fox's Bret Baier
A central question of Fox News' latest documentary on Benghazi has already been answered by official congressional and State Department investigations into the terrorist attacks.
On August 27, Fox announced "13 Hours at Benghazi," a new documentary hosted by Special Report anchor Bret Baier that will reportedly include "exclusive" interviews with three American security personnel who were present for the September 2012 attacks. The production, scheduled to air September 5, is based on a forthcoming bookwritten by journalist Mitchell Zuckoff and the CIA contractors.
According to Fox's announcement, the production will specifically explore "Whether or not military assistance was requested by the security team and whether orders from above hindered their response to the violence that claimed the lives of U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans."
The problem with this premise is that both of those questions have already been answered by official intelligence investigations.
As the Daily Beast's Eli Lake has explained, on the night of the attacks there was a 23-minute delay between the initial distress call from the diplomatic mission and when the CIA contractors departed the nearby Annex to respond. Despite suggestions from some in the intelligence community that this delay hindered their rescue effort, investigations found no evidence that the CIA operatives were delayed by "orders from above," as Fox's announcement suggests.
Instead, the Senate Intelligence Committee's January 2014 review of the attacks found that during that delay, the CIA's Chief of Base "attempted to secure assistance and heavy weapons" from US allies in the region, and that (emphasis added):
Although some members of the security team expressed frustration that they were unable to respond more quickly to the Mission compound, the Committee found no evidence of intentional delay or obstruction by the Chief of Base or any other party.
The State Department's independent Accountability Review Board also found the CIA team was not obstructed by officials:
The departure of the Annex team was not delayed by orders from superiors; the team leader decided on his own to depart the Annex compound once it was apparent, despite a brief delay to permit their continuing efforts, that rapid support from local security elements was not forthcoming.
Finally, the House Intelligence Committee, chaired by Republicans, also found no evidence that any response effort was blocked by official orders. According to Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD), the "bipartisan, factual, definitive report" on the Intelligence Community's actions the night of the attacks "shows there was no 'stand down order' given to American personnel attempting to offer assistance that evening."

i really am having trouble with the American public why are some of us still waiting with bated breath for the next episode of "as the republican lies turn",  their own people have said no and yet they still put it out which further kills any chance of Fox beng taken seriously and now Issa at it again subpoenas to get dirt where there is none on Pres. he needs to look under the rug in his office.  he wants to know how many trips Pres. took when those millions would be better spent finding out how many hours and millions he's spent to come to nothing but embarrassment for the party and emboldening for him, who turn that dog loose we do have leash laws congress use them.

Would It Kill You To Hire More Black Cops? (Yes)

http://dailycaller.com/2014/08/27/would-it-kill-you-to-hire-more-black-cops-yes/

this my friends is the right wing White talking heads expressing why Ferguson and other radical police forces should not hire Black officers, it's true to form of right wing bigotry and red meat for the base and a talking point for Fox and other republicans.

As the story of Ferguson, Missouri, police officer Darren Wilson’s shooting of Michael Brown begins to look less clear-cut than we were led to believe by Brown’s friend, Dorian Johnson, the “voices of oppression” on MSNBC now say the real issue is that there aren’t enough blacks on the Ferguson police force.
As Brown may or may not have said seconds before his death: I give up.
If the Ferguson police are forced to hire more minorities and women for the sake of diversity, the one thing we can be sure of is that more black people will be murdered, raped and assaulted.
Someone’s got to say it, so it might as well be me: I’m against more black people being murdered, raped and assaulted.
In a massive, detailed 2000 study of the effect of court-ordered affirmative action plans on police departments, economist John Lott found that the more minorities on a police force, the higher the rates of murder, manslaughter, violent crime, robbery and aggravated assault will be. Violent crime increased by a minimum of 3.3 percent every year after affirmative action policies went into effect — and the spike in crime was highest in black neighborhoods.
The problem was not with black cops, Lott’s study showed, but rather with the lowering of standards across the board, resulting in less-qualified officers of every race. To get more of MSNBC’s “voices of oppression” on police forces, requirements are reduced for all recruits. (Just as quality declined at MSNBC when “voices of oppression” had to be added to their lineup.)
We end up with cops who are criminals, the Rampart scandal of the 1990s and great movies like “Training Day.”

put aide the racist assumption the fact that they are still trying to say Blacks are not what they want because it would cause more rape, murder and mayhem on Blacks and they are concerned for our welfare or is it that they are setting a stage to blame future crimes against Blacks as self perpetrated, allowing police to use this as a claim of innocents "they did it to themselves".

how much lower can police go not reporting their atrocities, killing at their leisure, blaming the victim with smears that have nothing to do with their crime of murder and all the other things you hear that police do to Black and Hispanics.  once again I must say "BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT A MENACE TO SOCIETY, SOCIETY IS A MENACE TO BLACK PEOPLE" especially law enforcement and courts and prisons. call it like it really is not like you want to convince yourself it is.

Secret McConnell Recording Shows Need for Money in Politics Reform

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/marge-baker/secret-mcconnell-recordin_b_5722826.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592

MITCH MCCONNELL

Early this morning, The Nation published a leaked recording of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell's remarks at a secret meeting of major conservative donors put together by the Koch brothers.
While the first reactions to the recording may highlight what this means for McConnell's Senate race against Alison Lundergan Grimes, the story carries deeper implications as well. At its core, this is a story about why we need to reform the way we finance elections.

the fact that the rich right wing that has proven it's out for it's self and McConnell himself said he wanted to make Pres. a one termer while others on that side of the street chanted with glee that they hope and want him to fail that is a direct message to voters of both parties that they want them to flounder for 4 years that turned into 8,  big money is not about making your life better it's about more money and power for them to keep the status quo.  that is reason enough to stop this lopsided political landscape.

In the audio recording, Sen. McConnell says everything that the Koch brothers want to hear. At the beginning of his remarks, he gushes to the brothers: "I don't know where we'd be without you." He rails against Senate votes on raising the minimum wage, extending unemployment benefits, and tackling student debt. It's no coincidence that he has received heaps of cash from wealthy special interests that oppose action on those issues. (Reporting today from The Huffington Post shows that at the same Koch retreat, Rep. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and state Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa -- both Republican nominees for U.S. Senate -- "directly credited donors present...for propelling them forward.")
This is increasingly what our political system looks like. Those who can bankroll candidates can help set the political agenda -- even if that agenda looks nothing like what the majority of Americans want it to look like.

they have tried to take what we have and deny us what we need we are in the throes of their recession while they are thriving but still want to deny us. recognize Nov.4th just do it, just say no to them.

The Time Megyn Kelly Baited A Pastor To Slam Al Sharpton & Got Punked (VIDEO)

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/08/26/1324648/-Oops-Megyn-Kelly-Baits-A-Black-Pastor-To-Slam-Al-Sharpton-Gets-Punked-VIDEO?detail=email

This is rich. In the video below, Her Royal Whiteness, Megyn Kelly, interviews a black pastor, Robert White, from Peace Of Mind Church. I mention the color of their skin, because this is about racism - Fox racism. It's what they know. It's what they practice.
Pastor White, from St. Louis, was in Ferguson, last week, to meet with other peacemakers. in hopes of finding non-violent solutions to the riots after Michael Brown's murder. While there, he accepted the interview with Kelly.
During the interview, we find Megyn Kelly has asked the pastor onto the show, specifically to demean and discredit Reverend Al Sharpton. You know, because Sharpton is such a rabble-rouser for speaking on behalf of civil rights. Kelly baits the pastor, thinks she has him hooked, and then watches it blow up in her face.
Clearly pissed, Megyn Kelly keeps trying to get Pastor White to condemn Sharpton, and White will have no part of it. The apparent 'deal' they made prior is off - at least for the pastor. The best part is seeing a Fox host, any Fox host, (but Kelly is especially fun) trying to school someone, anyone, on the importance of having facts.
They basically brought Pastor White (LOL.... The irony...) on to condemn Al for "stoking up racial tension" in light of the killing.
BUT... The Brother flips the script EVER so niiiiiiiiiicely... watch Megan Kelly try her hardest to get it out of him and how she changes her tune when its clear that he wasn't gonna toe the line....

we have seen those wannabe tokens come on Fox and trash Pres. or any other thing Progressive but this is truly so satisfying I hope they paid him, kinda hard to sue or get the money back if it was bribe money. telling the truth on Fox when they expect you to lie good, out foxing a Foxette priceless.

any issues with Rev. Al are the property of those who try to smear him, he's doing a great job that is why they are trying to make him look bad, trying to say he just shows up for the publicity but refusal to accept his reputation precedes him and those in distress seek him out, jealousy perhaps proceed please the more you oppose him the more in demand he is if I might quote him " lots of things were acceptable until we stopped accepting them" so please proceed with your green faces.

Supporters of officer that shot Brown are lovely people who are not at all racist

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/08/26/1324749/-Supporters-of-officer-that-shot-Brown-are-lovely-people-who-are-not-at-all-racist?detail=email

Supporters of officer Darren Wilson hold placards outside Barney's Sports Pub in St. Louis, Missouri August 23, 2014. No arrests were recorded overnight, marking three consecutive relatively calm nights for the St. Louis suburb following daily unrest sinc

Another anecdote from that weekend rally to support the officer that shot Michael Brown: Did we mention that it's not about racism, no sir, can't imagine where you got that idea?
While CNN was talking to pro-Wilson demonstrators, a local resident, Victor Dewan, came by to tell the rally to go home, that he doesn't want trouble in his neighborhood. "We don't want any controversy. There's a lot of black people live around here and I want for the peace. Let them get out of here. We don't want this street to be any violent," said Dewan.
But as he voiced his displeasure, divisions here became apparent once more, with protesters telling Dewan that it is their First Amendment right to protest, and telling him they are U.S. citizens.
Dewan replied that he is a U.S. citizen, too. Then one protester told him to learn to speak English.
"I am speaking English," Dewan said.
"I am speaking English do you understand that?! Stupid jack***, do you understand that?!" a protester yelled at Dewan.

now White supporters come to an obviously Black neighborhood and taunt the residents with signs and radical rhetoric, when calmly asked to leave that no trouble was sought they insult and true to their color create the scenario of a riot which I'm sure would have been blamed on Dewan.
by saying things like shoot and waving signs it sends the message that hate is alive a well in America.

Walmart Video Shows John Crawford Was Shot on Sight By Cops With No Warning, Family Attorneys Say

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/08/26/1324793/-Video-Shows-John-Crawford-Was-Shot-on-Sight-By-Cops-With-No-Warning-Family-Attorneys-Say?detail=email
JOE CRAWFORD III
John Crawford was the unfortunate black man holding a BB gun in the toy section of a Walmart Store in Beavercreek, OH, when police, in response to several 911 calls, shot and killed him on August 5, 2014.  Police have maintained that Crawford was waving the BB gun around in a threatening manner when they arrived and refused their commands to drop the "weapon" (even though Ohio is an "open carry" state), thus requiring his execution style death by cop.
However, Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine, who assigned the case investigating the police homicide of Mr. Crawford to a special prosecutor, recently allowed family members and their attorneys to view the surveillance tape from the store that shows the moments up to and including John Crawford's shooting death by police.  After viewing that tape, the family's attorneys and Crawford's father dispute the police account of this incident in no uncertain terms:
Attorney Michael Wright said: "We need Mike DeWine to refer this case to the Department of Justice. Not to a special prosecutor."
Wright said Crawford did nothing wrong in Walmart. "Nothing more, nothing less than shopping."
Wright, who has seen store surveillance video of the shooting incident, said Crawford was shot while talking on the phone, holding the butt of the gun with the barrel pointed at the floor.
He said Crawford was "shot on sight" in a "militaristic" response.

well I finally got an answer I wondered how Black and Hispanics would be treated when it comes to all the gun liberty being doled out by state gov't you know the ones republicans want to give all the power to. I still wonder if they can get guns and carry permits as easily as the others.

complaining that leaks about the investigation have benefited the police shooters and denigrated John Crawford's character.
“Everything released is one-sided.  There is nothing favorable to John Crawford.  You can’t show different pieces, show it all, don’t trickle pieces to gain favor of the public, “said Michael Wright, Crawford family attorney.  Wright wants to see the release of events in chronological order. Wright says the video shows Crawford standing in the direction of some shelves.  He say Crawford was talking on his cell phone and probably did not see or hear the police officer sent to the store to investigate.  He said in one frame you see Crawford on the phone, the next you see him on the floor.

this is returning to epidemic times of old when it was open season on those not White but we have to look for another reason because the republicans state and nationally deny any racial divide or  profiling or their new law if they are black take a whack if that doesn't do shoot 'em too.  one ting they over looked all the carry guys brandishing have been White, which prompted my question are we in on that purchase and carry thing or is it just their game?

btw, the officer was placed on leave not arrested
not a lot of reserve by cops when you can get basically a paid vacation for killing Black men.

Rush Limbaugh Plagued With Deserting Radio Stations - And Now, Dead Air

Rush Limbaugh shouting.

The news for talk show host, Rush Limbaugh, continues to go from bad to worse… to even worst than that. That means the news gets better and better for hundreds of thousands of Limbaugh protestors. On Monday, Rush not only lost another radio station (this time, it's Nebraska), the hate radio host experienced one full minute of dear airtime on his show.

Hundreds of thousands of people are protesting Rush Limbaugh's racism, homophobia, misogyny and bigotry. The folks at StopRush, FlushRush and BoycottRush work hard to make it easy for anyone to join this incredibly effective protest:

if you hadn't noticed we are the change we've been waiting for, and hate is short lived in this new America, so racist rush living high on the hog like the pig that he is will not be the voice of republican red meat much longer, there will be replacements but when they get as arrogant and crude as rush and they will we'll wave to them too while throwing out the sign excuse my dust.

Hilarious Audio: In Midst of Ferguson Rant, Rightwing Host Gets Nailed for Attacking a Cop in 1997

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/08/25/1324613/-Hilarious-Audio-In-Midst-of-Ferguson-Rant-Rightwing-Host-Gets-Nailed-for-Attacking-a-Cop-in-1997?detail=email

Dylan Brogan, Madison's most intrepid reporter, happened to catch right wing talk show host Vicki McKenna's afternoon program while flipping through the dials last Friday.
On this day, McKenna was talking about the turmoil in Ferguson Missouri over a police officer shooting an unarmed teen that was, according to the police officer, attacking the police officer.  McKenna repeatedly suggested that the police officer was in the right, simply defending himself, and the protests were completely unwarranted.
In a previous reporting endeavor, Brogan had obtained a police report that indicated that McKenna was charged during a 1997 U2 concert for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest for altercations with police officers, security guards and fellow concert goers.  With this in mind, he was amazed by McKenna's bravado in defending the police officer's use of deadly force with an allegedly combative perpetrator.
A little background:  Brogan is a progressive-leaning reporter that previously worked as a reporter at WEKZ during the Wisconsin protests.  He also was progressive radio host John "Sly" Sylvester's producer for several years.  During the 2011 protests, McKenna was Walker's biggest cheerleader and even went as far as to say that Madison fire fighters and police officers were "heroes no more" because of their pro-union actions during the protests.
So, Brogran called into the show, posing as "George," and brought up the 1997 altercation and asked if lethal force would have been a reasonable response when she "hit that cop":
A clearly angered McKenna responded: "I didn't hit a cop!  ...that never happened... I didn't hit anybody."  McKenna then went on to shout that nothing in the police report says anything about her hitting a police officer and that all the claims over the years that she had hit a police officer were "slander," "defamation" and a "lie" and that she got the disorderly conduct charge simply because she was "mouthing-off" to police officers.
On the next call, McKenna compares the distortion of the "actual events" in Ferguson to the left's distortion of her 1997 disorderly conduct arrest, saying, "that idiot that just called and propagated a lie that's been spread for 18 years-- this is what the Left does."
So what does that police report  say happened at that 1997 U2 concert?  The report says that McKenna was removed from the concert when she "scratched" and "fought with" a Per Mar security officer that was trying to separate her from another concert-goer, with whom she was involved in a separate altercation.
Later, the report says the officers tried to eject McKenna from the concert, but she refused to leave and "brought her arm up, struck out with her hand out toward chief Clemens' head.  At the end of her reach, she made a forward swipe with her hand."  Clemens told the officer writing the report that she "made contact with his ear when she swung at him."
For this behavior, McKenna was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

if you do it and it's reported then it's recoverable now. how arrogantly stupid can you get  everything she called this guy was relevant to her like most right wingers they forget "it's on tape stupid", all she had to do was say she was young and dumb but now she's matured, actually that wouldn't work giving the rant of lies she embarked on eliminates maturity.

Karl Rove Supports The Plan His Group Is Attacking Democrats For Backing

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/08/26/karl-rove-supports-the-plan-his-group-is-using/200554

A political group headed by Karl Rove is spending big money on hypocritical attack ads against Democratic candidates for supporting elements of the Simpson-Bowles plan. But the Fox News contributor has previously been a supporter of the plan, calling it a "blueprint for righting the nation's finances" and repeatedly attacking President Obama for not enacting its recommendations. At one point in 2013, Rove told Fox viewers that if Obama had adopted Simpson-Bowles, he "would have had an easy reelection and his popularity would be sky-high today."
this guy is still suffering PTSD from his 2012 meltdown on live TV when the 300 million he spent didn't get Romney elected.  but this is not new they are always trying to pin their tales on Pres. when he does what they say and when he doesn't even those things they were strongly for before Pres. was so now that he is they aren't did that clear it up?  think how far we would be had they not pledged to do nothing to help Pres. his low ratings are stupid theirs are lower but rightfully so not so much Pres. they have done nothing for 6 years Pres. well you be the judge this time be fair.

remember there was not a republican in sight.  and you will never hear this on Fox just the negatives they created by blocking him and by default "YOU".

Fox News objects to calling Michael Brown an 'unarmed teen'

Fox & Friends' Steve Doocy with Linda Chavez, chyron 'Media Bias: Is 'Unarmed Teen' Description Misleading?'

It's almost uncanny how Fox & Friends can so reliably manage to be the stupidest of all possible punditry shows. The competition is fierce—I imagine Steve Doocy has to personally chug a gallon of tapioca semigloss every morning just to make sure he brings his 'A' game to the show—but they pull it off.
A Fox News segment asked whether the "unarmed teen" description of Michael Brown is misleading and featured Fox contributor Linda Chavez arguing that such a description enhances racial fears and is an attempt to play the "race card."
Well, he was a "teen" and he was "unarmed" so the phrase would seem to be as straight-news as you can get, but I'll bite. Go on.
During the segment on Fox, on-screen text asked if the "unarmed teen" description of Michael Brown was misleading while [today's guest crazy person Linda Chavez] argued that Brown was an adult male "who is six foot four and weighs almost three hundred pounds":

So this is where we are. We've got Steve Doocy and company arguing that calling the unarmed teen an "unarmed teen" is misleading, because unarmed American black teenagers are their own dangerous weapons. You shouldn't call him "unarmed" because the unarmed black teen walking down the street is armed with himself.

I have but one thought for F& F  hopefully giving them one thing at a time might help.

"BLACK PEOPLE ARE NOT A MENACE TO SOCIETY, SOCIETY IS A MENACE TO BLACK PEOPLE",  maybe looking at the other news media might clear it up for those who stand to close to the microwave.  when one shoots at an UNARMED" kid 6 to ten times with possibly 4 missing there is no question who is armed and who isn't.  DUH!!!!!

Kansas Teen with Mental Health Issues Shot and killed by 15-16 Police Officers (Updated)

FBI Investigates Kansas City Kansas Police Officers
updated?  I hadn't heard the first story have you?

The victim's foster father, William Bruton, said Jennings told him he was heading to Walmart Saturday night.
"He was walking back and they said that they had a complaint and stuff on him out here making a scene," Bruton said.
"As I was looking, they kept getting closer. They pulled the guns out. They kept getting closer and closer. You could hear them tell him to, 'Get down, get down,'" said witness Houston Harris.
"By the time I got to my son, he maneuvered away from me," said Bruton. "He went up toward the cop, he done something with his hand and about 15 to 16 cops shot rounds off on him, in his chest, his legs, everything."
The young man involved was believed to have suicidal thoughts in part due to ongoing seizures and mental health issues.
Family members said police have made several recent trips to their home. They said the young man had been having suicidal thoughts because of painful seizures and had tried to overdose on Friday.
Jennings aunt Brandy Smith, who was at the scene on Saturday, said police wouldn't let her intervene. She said she could have helped Jennings get the help he needed.
"I never thought it would hit this close to home," she said. "My condolences go out to the victims of the Ferguson incident. I'm living it, too. The overkill and the police department not knowing how to handle those with disabilities."
In an overnight news conference, the county attorney and police chief said the shooting was a traumatic experience for the officers involved.
"We have to make sure that they have time to decompress, relax and clear their heads so they can be available for both the families and the KBI as witnesses," said Ottawa Police Chief Dennis P. Butler.

5:56 AM PT: Update
News sources have updated their information on the occurance, saying that the young man purchased either a BB Gun in one report or a Water Gun in another, and was pacing around rambling, which is why the police appeared.
The new contention is also that while 15-16 police officers were present, 6-7 actually fired weapons.   We are unsure of that number.

is this becoming a norm if so how many bodies will it take to satisfy the blood lusting of homicidal cops?  note Kansas is a red state which apparently supports the idea of overly aggressive cops.  is this what it's going to take before "we the people" move to change or police enforcement the pile of dead kids courtesy of their local police?  apparently the congress will not move so we need to move them out of that job and replace with someone who cares if your kid could potentially be another statistic.

The operator says it allows supervised children age eight and up to handle weapons

Charles Vacca, 39, was instructing the girl on how to use an automatic Uzi on Monday when the girl, who was accompanied by her parents, pulled the trigger and then lost control of the weapon, the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Tuesday. Vacca was shot in the head and died of his injuries.
He said Vacca, a longtime military veteran, had been working at the range for roughly two years. Scarmardo also said the range had not had an accident since it was opened more than a decade ago.

live by it die by it.

A nine-year-old girl accidentally shot and killed a shooting range instructor in Arizona, police say.

are the NRA and Wayne LaPierre reaping the results of their drive to have kids carry and learn how to kill I mean shoot guns, will they show their faces and comment and if so will it be a still supporting kids with guns or will they lose the apathetic attitude of those who die and those who kill.

God Bless that girl may the guns be an aversion to her and she be able to reconcile what gun happy adults did by putting her in the circumstance?  who's the next adolescent killer?

NFL Star Antonio Cromartie Puts Mike Brown's Name on His Jersey. The Response Has Been Vile...

Antonio Cromartie, a three-time Pro Bowl cornerback now playing for the Arizona Cardinals, sent out the following message and accompanying image today via Twitter on the occasion of Mike Brown's funeral in Ferguson, Missouri:
It's a beautiful gesture, the type which professional athletes often refrain from making, not wanting to get embroiled in political controversies or hot-button issues (for fear of their own brand or that of the team for which they play). Perhaps Cromartie didn't think that such a moving display of empathy would elicit a stream of hatred. Perhaps he did.
Either way, that's exactly what has occurred. Below are three examples (as images, since I prefer not to link to them):
at the risk of sounding corny but sincere this country is going to hell in a hand basket,  the only ones running around declaring this is the greatest country the richest country the strongest country and they are the one's that spew the hate and vitriolic rhetoric that just gins up those like them and continues us on a downward spiral.  the idiots are to greedy to see there is no country without the people they are stomping on.
a great country looks out for all of it's people, richest country does not have starving kids and no health care or jobs, they say the Dems are trying to divide the country when in fact it has never been together they have insured that status quo since the 17th century.  it's a pathetic country who can laugh and cheer at a dead kid regardless to color of their skin, it shows that faction to be not what Americans are suppose to be but unfortunately what at least half is
we will never be great until this America becomes the one they unsuccessfully tried to convince the world we are.  Pres. said "WE ARE THE CHANGE WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR" why are we still fighting against it?
