Conservatives Blame Democrats For Conservative Impeachment Threats

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/07/28/conservatives-blame-democrats-for-conservative/200222

Right-wing media and Republicans are blaming Democrats and President Obama for allegedly "ginning up" the issue of impeachment for political benefit, but that Pandora's Box was opened by conservatives themselves, who have been demanding impeachment since Obama first took office.
In an interview with conspiracy website WND (which has its own "Impeachment Store"), Rep. Steve Stockman (R-TX) told conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi that President Obama "wants us to impeach him now" because "his senior advisors believe that is the only chance the Democratic Party has to avoid a major electoral defeat. Evidently Obama believes impeachment could motivate the Democratic Party base to come out and vote."
Stockman's proclamation that the president is "begging to be impeached" was quickly trumpeted as the top story on the Drudge Report and Fox Nation, and Stockman isn't the only one trying to pin the increase in impeachment discussion on Democrats. While refusing to answer whether impeachment is off the table for House Republicans, incoming House Majority Whip Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) claimed "this might be the first White House in History that's trying to start the narrative of impeaching their own president."
Fox News America's Newsroom host Martha MacCallum also attempted to distance impeachment rhetoric from the right and pin it on Democrats, claiming that while "some" Republicans have called for impeachment, "The White House itself has been talking a lot about this potential impeachment, even though a lot of members of the GOP want nothing to do with it."
She continued, saying impeachment was "kind of crazy when you think about it," and dismissed Fox News contributor Sarah Palin's impeachment call, saying "it really gained no traction among Republicans.

anyone who has a radio or TV or a friend or relative who did than you know who started this I word frenzy like they are the ones who started and are still the only ones who bring up all things Nazi.  I think that it hit a nerve when Dems laughed at them and they realized to utter ignorance they present by doing this much like their lawsuit, just as stupid and yet they want to continue it's about creating an asterisk next to his name in history books, again stupid because if there is an asterisk it will be accompanied by the story of their repeated failures to "get him" that culminated into the suit and impeachment, Pres. will be fine republicans in their zeal to take Pres. down they are adding lead to their own self imposed descent.

Well, well. Satanists to use Hobby Lobby to block pro-life propaganda

Satanist Temple Demands 'Hobby Lobby' Style Religious Exemptions From ...Satanists want Hobby Lobby-style religious exemption from anti-choice ...

Hobby Lobby store is seen in this June 30, 2014, file photo in ...Satanists Have Plans For Hobby Lobby Ruling + 4 Other Things to Know ...
  1. ... From Abortion Restrictions, Cite Hobby Lobby Ruling | ThinkProgress

Hm, not sure if the Catholic men on the Supreme Court saw this one coming.  But you know, unintended consequences and all.
In a statement, the Satanic Temple said that it will use the Supreme Court’s recent Hobby Lobby decision to exempt its believers from state-mandated informed consent laws that require women considering abortions to read pro-life material.
Informed consent or “right to know” laws state that women seeking elective abortions be provided with information about alternatives to the procedure, often couched in language that attempts to personify the fetus. According to the Guttmacher Institute, 35 states currently have informed consent laws, and of those, 33 require that the woman be told the gestational age of the fetus.

In some states, that information consists of pro-life propaganda that links abortion to a higher incidence of breast and ovarian cancers, or discusses “post-abortion syndrome,” a mental condition not recognized by any major medical or psychiatric organization.
Because the Satanic Temple bases its belief “regarding personal health…on the best scientific understanding of the world, regardless of the religious or political beliefs of others,” it claims that state-mandated information with no basis in scientific fact violates its “religious” beliefs.

this is really going to backfire the hobby peoples claims and their religious beliefs are supporting Satanist, will they take responsibility as they should I don't see any difference in application to either side they are fighting a good fight but many will allow their definition to cloud the fact that they are saying something that IMO is correct.  I can see those who oppose setting their hair on fire crying foul but like they say on Perry Mason, "you opened the door".

Idiot FL Congressman Assumes Obama Officials Are Foreign Because of Skin Color and Surnames (Video)

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/25/1316794/-Idiot-FL-Congressman-Assumes-Obama-Officials-Are-Foreign-Because-of-Skin-Color-and-Surnames-Video?detail=email

... candidate wins Florida special election to replace ex-Rep. Radel
#138 of My Stupid State
My God, this Teabag Congressman is a complete idiot.  (I know, redundant.)  Gohmert and Bachmann are now in a real race for the dumbest member of the lower chamber.  (NEVER count out Florida!)
In a painfully awkward congressional hearing, freshman Rep. Curt Clawson touted his deep knowledge of India and his favorite Bollywood movies to two administration officials holding senior positions in the US government. The two officials, the Honorable Nisha Biswal and the Honorable Arun Kumar, are high-ranking members of the State Department and Commerce Department, respectively.  They were EVEN INTRODUCED with their positions in the US Government.
Curt Clawson, who clearly wasn't paying attention, assumed the two were representatives from India. After all, they had dark skin and Indian surnames, so that was all he needed to make that assumption.  He told them how much he loved "your country" and then demanded that there be more open "freedom of capital" with "your government".
Clawson obviously didn't know the purpose of the hearing he was participating in, nor did it ever cross his mind that it is extremely rare for foreign officials to testify before the US Congress under oath.

this is another example of the republican bigoted profiling, I keep saying leave them alone and they will eventually stick all ten toes in their mouth.

As embarrassing as that was, what happened next was really awkward.
Mz. Biswal, being a class act even though this idiot made an ignorant assumption, told him point blank that "I think your question is to the Indian Government", and said she would advocate his position on behalf of "the US GOVERNMENT".  She was clearly attempting to correct him without embarrassing him further.
Clawson then apologized and ate crow... just kidding. He continued to be as clueless as ever.  He smugly responded "Let's see some progress."
Wow.  Somehow, I think FL-19 was better off being represented with the coke-smoking Republican who Clawson just replaced.
Yet Curt Clawson is the perfect representative for the modern GOP: ignoring facts that are put right in front of you AND carrying a default ignorant mindset.

it's amazing how completely blissful they make these statements devoid of any reality and know by those they are speaking to the only one in the dark those who engage in disingenuous conversation of which they know nothing you know like leaping on anything they think they can spin in their favor that too with no research.

Wanna know why Republicans can't give up calling Obama 'not American'? They've got nothing else.

Obama hits the stage at a campaign rally in Ames, Iowa, in front of a massive United States flag.

Generally speaking, I support recycling. In this case, not so much. You may have read earlier this week that Rep. Steve King, (R-IA), brought back one of his party's golden oldies. You know, the one about how President Barack Obama is, for some reason or other, just not a real American. At an anti-immigration rally in Council Bluffs, Iowa, King offered some musings on this theme.
[Obama's] vision of America isn’t like our vision of America. That we know. Now I don’t assert where he was born, I will just tell you that we are all certain that he was not raised with an American experience. So these things that beat in our hearts when we hear the National Anthem and when we say the Pledge of Allegiance doesn’t beat the same for him. If you remember when he was a candidate for president he was standing at the front of a row of Democrat [sic] candidates for president down at Tom Harkin’s steak fry. The rest of them, when they played the National Anthem, had their hand over their heart. But Barack Obama was standing with arms down his side dangling — while the National Anthem was being played. Now, what was that about, was it an act of defiance? I don’t think so. Some thought so.

back again to the un American, Kenyan not born here no he does not feel what those that are referred to in this article feel anthem or not look at what they have stated they were against the last 6 years the only thing they claimed they were for was jobs of which they have not dragged any imposter in front of the cameras to say "I got my job from Beohner or any other republican in his own words Beohner said "don't judge us for how many laws we pass but how many we repeal", paraphrased.  tells you were their heads are and nothing they have done or said these pass 6 years sounds like they are not Americans, there they go again blaming Pres. for what they do.

Rand Paul, Cory Booker team up for bipartisan reform of criminal justice system

JUDY WOODRUFF:
Now to a bipartisan effort on Capitol Hill to try to reform the nation’s criminal justice system.
Two freshman senators, a political odd couple, Democrat Cory Booker of New Jersey and Republican Rand Paul of Kentucky, have introduced legislation called the REDEEM Act that would make it easier for juveniles who commit nonviolent crimes to expunge or seal those convictions from their records, lift the federal ban on food stamps and welfare benefits for low-level drug offenders, offer incentives to states that currently try juveniles as adults to encourage them to raise the age to 18, and ban solitary confinement for children, except in the most dangerous cases.

sorry but I just can't buy Rand Paul's actions of late, this pursuit of the Black vote for republicans is a bone throw first his party is not really chastising him for colluding with the other side this was initially a Pres.'s plan and objected to by the republicans with until now none of them have said anything different.  if he does this will the party support him or will they stay true to form and block it?  t
this is not the first time he's tried to convince Black voters whom his party is doing all it can to suppress their vote, sounds like a conflict of interest or a plan by the republicans to fool voters into thinking they have changed their attitudes but if this is implemented won't it affect their privatizing agenda?

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/26/1316848/-What-not-to-say-to-black-people-when-you-are-Rand-Paul?detail=email#

as for Booker he's trying to make his bones this would be a good place if those who oppose don't change horses in the middle of the stream.  if Rand shows his true colors how bad will it look for Booker, Paul we would expect no less from him and the party.

Food Stamp Program Hits Historic Low For Waste, Fox Attacks It Anyway

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/07/24/food-stamp-program-hits-historic-low-for-waste/200203

Fox Hypes 1/2,000th Of Budget As Unsustainable Waste

Fox News misleadingly attacked the federal food stamp program for being wasteful and unaccountable despite reports that the program achieved the lowest payment error rate in its history in the most recently available data.
Fox New complained about the findings of a report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) on quality control in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), previously known as food stamps. The USDA report clearly states that the 2012 fiscal year was "another year of excellent performance in payment accuracy" before noting that the most recent payment error rate of 3.42 percent was once again "the lowest National payment error rate in the history of SNAP."
On the July 24 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends, co-host Brian Kilmeade cast the findings in a negative light, stressing that "the government is overpaying on food stamps by about $2 billion." Co-host Steve Doocy then questioned whether the Obama administration could "be trusted with more money," given the overpayments. Fox Business anchor Stuart Varney went on to chastise the Department of Agriculture for labeling the food-stamp payment error rate of 3.42 percent "excellent," wondering aloud "since when has that been good?"
Fox News' mischaracterization of the SNAP report continued throughout the day. On Happening Now, co-host Jenna Lee called the USDA report "startling" and said that "the administration is having a tough time managing its funds." On The Real Story, host Gretchen Carlson claimed that federal spending on nutrition assistance was "reaching a breaking point" before highlighting the growth of participation in the food stamp program since 2007.
Far from indicating a managerial flaw in the Obama administration, the 2012 payment error rate in SNAP is evidence of success in rooting out improper payments. According to the report being derided on Fox News, the national payment error rate in SNAP during President Obama's first year in office was 4.36 percent. That error rate then fell to 3.81, 3.80, and 3.42 percent in fiscal years 2010-2012, respectively.

have you ever asked yourself why right wing media only reports doom and gloom and the failure of Pres. he's not leading, while non right wing media post documentation of the truth of growth and things no where near as bad as they claim?  well they are either ashamed of the lies they have been telling the last 6 years which I doubt or they think the public outside their base is just as thick and will believe them,

the polls cited by both sides paint a picture that proves that to be true, so we should stop blaming Fox et al and put it where it belongs first on this admin for not countering attacks with rebuttals before recently,  the Dem party for disloyalty to Pres. in favor of their re-election and finally and mostly responsible, "we the voting people", we need to lose that low turn out mantra we wear around our necks and show up to show them we are here and we are not going anywhere but they are Nov. 4th our deadline our redline in the sand do we defend or do we cower in our living rooms watching TV while state after state claims them as winners?

How The NRA Is Trying To Clean Up Its Bizarre Mandatory Gun Training For Kids Proposal

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/07/25/how-the-nra-is-trying-to-clean-up-its-bizarre-m/200210

The National Rifle Association is trying to smooth over the extreme ideas presented in a recent video suggesting children should have to receive mandatory gun training "to advance to the next grade" by mischaracterizing the video and airing a deceptively cropped version of it on NRA News.
In a July 21 NRA News video titled "Everyone Gets A Gun," NRA News commentator Billy Johnson imagined a compulsory education system that would require children to become proficient with firearms, just like "reading and writing," even "if they didn't want to learn" as a requirement to advance in school:
JOHNSON: Gun policy driven by our need for guns would insist that we introduce young people to guns early and that we'd give them the skills to use firearms safely. Just like we teach them reading and writing, necessary skills. We would teach shooting and firearm competency. It wouldn't matter if a child's parents weren't good at it. We'd find them a mentor. It wouldn't matter if they didn't want to learn. We would make it necessary to advance to the next grade.
Johnson's suggestion children would have to become proficient with a gun to move on in school was widely ridiculed. Now the NRA is responding to critics with the misleading suggestion that Johnson was merely talking about the importance of teaching children gun safety.Unfortunately NRA News cut the video just before the most controversial part of his commentary, where Johnson said: "Just like we teach them reading and writing, necessary skills. We would teach shooting and firearm competency. It wouldn't matter if a child's parents weren't good at it. We'd find them a mentor. It wouldn't matter if they didn't want to learn. We would make it necessary to advance to the next grade."
IMO teaching a kid gun safety is don't have one and don' tell kids how to be safe around a gun because kids are not like those who promote guns they are smarter than a fifth grader those who would sponsor does a sack of bricks come to mind?

the fact that after all the mass murders and tiny caskets now years later they want to try to clean up what was the pinnacle of their arrogance, must be some lost of members or sponsors or something cause believe me they care less than gnat crap about a kid dead by a gun.  you don't be a hardcore zealot yesterday and willing to give up that status and all that money that comes with it today.

Fox's George Will: We Should Tell Child Immigrants "Welcome To America"

http://mediamatters.org/video/2014/07/27/foxs-george-will-we-should-tell-child-immigrant/200215

we can not believe these people last week on that same show he was his usual right wing self but of late he's been kicked to the curb by some of those who carried his column, unlike Racist Rush Limbaugh he see's the writing on the wall and loss of endorsement depletes your bank account, so this switcheroo to kinder gentler Will is out of necessity not out of a compassionate humane moral epiphany.

Conservative Media's Favorite Economist Caught Distorting Facts About Taxes And Job Creation

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/07/25/conservative-medias-favorite-economist-caught-d/200213
Heritage Foundation Chief Economist Stephen Moore

Heritage Foundation chief economist Stephen Moore was caught using incorrect statistics to mislead readers about the relationship between tax cuts and job creation in the United States.
On July 7, Moore published an op-ed in The Kansas City Star attacking economic policies favored by Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman. The op-ed claimed that "places such as New York, Massachusetts, Illinois and California ... are getting clobbered by tax-cutting states." Moore went on to attack liberals for "cherry-picking a few events" in their arguments against major tax cuts, when in fact it was Moore who cited bad data to support his claims.
On July 24, The Kansas City Star published a correction to Moore's op-ed, specifically stating that the author had "misstated job growth rates for four states and the time period covered." The editorial board of the Star inserted this annotation to Moore's inaccurate claims:
Please see editor's note at the top of this column.
No-income-tax Texas gained 1 million jobs over the last five years, California, with its 13 percent tax rate, managed to lose jobs. Oops. Florida gained hundreds of thousands of jobs while New York lost jobs. NOTE: These figures are incorrect. The time period covered was December 2007 to December 2012. Over that time, Texas gained 497,400 jobs, California lost 491,200, Florida lost 461,500 and New York gained 75,900. Oops. Illinois raised taxes more than any other state over the last five years and its credit rating is the second lowest of all the states, below that of Kansas! (emphasis original)
On July 25, Star columnist Yael Abouhalkah explained the correction in more detail. Abouhalkah wrote that Moore had "used outdated and inaccurate job growth information at a key point in his article" and that Moore should have used data from 2009 to 2014, rather than from 2007 to 2012.
Abouhalkah also argued that "the problems with Moore's opinion article damaged his credMoore has referred to unemployment insurance as a "paid vacation" for jobless Americans and bizarrely claimed that laws guaranteeing paid sick leave for full-time workers were "very dangerous for cities." Moore spent years basely claiming that the Affordable Care Act would reduce job creation, seamlessly transitioning from one debunked talking point to the next along the way.
He is also an outspoken opponent of increasing the minimum wage, claiming that even a moderate rise in wages would result in a "big increase" in unemployment. In a recent foray out of the safety of right-wing media, Moore's anti-living wage spin was easily cut down by CNN anchor Carol Costello.ibility on the jobs issue."

these people who are credited with supposedly knowing their stuff, should know better or they have perpetrated such a fraud on the public to get their ,looks like undeserved credentials, or they are right wing zealots who will toss anything in the bases trough seemingly oblivious to the fact that there has been a track record on overwhelming amounts of misinformation that has been rebuked usually within the same news cycle.

are they like the rest just putting it out there banking on their base and readers will not stray from their media outlets so will not hear the disgraceful attempt to mislead them?  you have to wonder are these right wing intellectuals and think tanks and such just reinforcing the mantle of "the party of stupid, stupider, stupidest"?

not only the base hears it but everyone else does to and they are not half of the population so technically they should not have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected, except American voters are fickle and more times than not vote against their own interest, is that what they are depending on, given they lie with impunity?

Fox Host Megyn Kelly Flubs Ukraine Flight Limits To Bash Obama Over Israel

http://mediamatters.org/research/2014/07/23/fox-host-megyn-kelly-flubs-ukraine-flight-limit/200196

refers to Fox news personality Megyn Kelly informing children that ...

Megyn Kelly Falsely Claims FAA Has Not Limited Flights Over Ukraine

FAA Bans Flights To Israel For 48 Hours Over Safety Concerns Stemming From Israel-Hamas Fighting.
On July 22, the Federal Aviation Administration issued a notice prohibiting U.S. airlines from flying to or from Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport for 24 hours after a Hamas-launched rocket landed near the airport. On July 23, the FAA extended the ban for another 24 hours. [Federal Aviation Administration, 7/22/14]
Megyn Kelly: This Ban Exists Despite Lack Of Ban Over Ukraine, Where Airliner Was Shot Down.
Fox News host Megyn Kelly claimed that the Obama administration's move represented a victory for Hamas and a boycott of Israel. She fraudulently illustrated her point by drawing a contrast with what she falsely called the administration's failure to issue a similar flight ban over Ukraine when a recent Malaysian Airlines flight was shot down:
KELLY: The ban was extended despite the fact that there is no similar ban in place on flights over Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen -- not even one over Ukraine, where a commercial airliner was just shot down. [Fox News, The Kelly File, 7/23/14]

as big as Fox is don't you think they could spend a couple of bucks on research or do they apparently send the Foxettes out there unarmed and under informed and in some instance's under educated to toss the red meat in the feeding troughs, I mean can they seriously believe 2/3 of what they say themselves?  it looks like they really do have a speaking points for the day that is faxed to all affiliates and politicians because the all speak verbatim on whatever the subject is there is to evidence of independent thinking if there was there would be different words phrased similarly but not verbatim.  if so it works on those least informed because they hear everyone on radio and Fox TV saying it the same way it sticks.

G W Bush, "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones you want to concentrate on", it works or there would be none of the problems we have today, believe it opposition to this admin is what is killing us. recognize

AFSCME parts ways with the United Negro College Fund over Koch brothers money

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/25/1316605/-AFSCME-parts-ways-with-the-United-Negro-College-Fund-over-Koch-brothers-money?detail=email
It seems the right is up in arms over public employee union AFSCME's decision to stop a partnership with the United Negro College Fund over the UNCF's budding relationship with the Koch brothers. After the UNCF accepted a $25 million donation from the Koch brothers, much of it earmarked to a "Koch Scholars" program with two of five seats on the scholarship committee chosen by the Koch brothers, and the UNCF's president spoke at the Koch brothers' annual summit, AFSCME decided to find another partner for its own scholarship program for students of color. To some, this is an OUTRAGE!!!
AFSCME's decision hinged on a specific policy issue that you might think the UNCF would care about:
In a letter to UNCF president Michael Lomax, AFSCME’s Saunders called the Kochs “the single most prominent funders of efforts to prevent African-Americans from voting.” Lomax’s appearance at the Koch brothers’ annual summit, where they plot conservative strategy – this year’s focus was taking back the Senate in 2014 — was “a betrayal of everything the UNCF stands for.” Members of AFSCME, a union that supports Democrats with money and people power, voted unanimously to back Saunders’ decision at their annual convention in Chicago last week.
I understand the draw of 25 million but there is also a ting called integrity and taking money from those who oppose and would buy America if we let them so as to perpetuate their radicall agenda's on the very people that money is suppose to help is typical right wing thinking and 25 mill to two billionaires pocket money the supposed positive publicity the think it will buy them, priceless.

one thing they are not considering the UNCF took the money not the students, were they even polled to see what they thought after all the affiliation goes with them after school, do they want that association.

That's key. It's not just that the vast majority of the money the Kochs gave the UNCF will go not to the general pool of applicants for UNCF funding, but to the Koch Scholars program for students studying "how entrepreneurship, economics, and innovation contribute to well-being for individuals, communities, and society" (can you say "well-funded effort to train up black conservatives"?)—it's that the UNCF president went and spoke at a right-wing strategy conference at which other speakers included Charles f'ing Murray, notorious purveyor of the claim that black people are genetically less smart than white people. That is some serious bad judgment right there, and it's not crazy to think it's the kind of bad judgment that can maybe be bought by a $25 million donation.
AFSCME President Lee Saunders and 15 percent of the union's membership are African-American. The union is also deeply committed to getting out the vote—while the Koch brothers are deeply committed to voter suppression.

there should be a public demonstration of this move to not service the beneficiary's of the UNCF though it bears the race name it's only 15% where and what does the other money go, it stinks and wreaks of collusion and promoting Koch indoctrination.

Cartoon: Rick Perry's 'Operation Strong Candidate'

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/25/1316217/-Cartoon-Rick-Perry-s-Operation-Strong-nbsp-Candidate?detail=email
Evolution of Rick Perry
With Texas governor Rick Perry's recent announcement that he's sending National Guard troops to the border, campaign season has begun. Is it just a coincidence that he was in Iowa when this news started to break?
Yes, there is an immigration problem and an impotent Congress has been unable to get any meaningful immigration legislation passed. Governor Perry has apparently decided to begin his campaign on the backs of the poor people crossing the desert. All you have to do is watch his announcement to see Perry play acting at being president. Presto! Foreign policy cred.
It sounds strong and effective to order National Guard troops to the border, but these troops are not authorized to detain people crossing the border illegally—and local sheriffs have called instead for more police enforcementRick Perry:
While they're fightin' over border crossings in the Holy Land, we gotta' fight for our borders here in God's country., not military muscle.
if Bachmann just wet your whistle here is another whack a mole, between me and you does he think he's Superman and that those glasses will hide his stupidity?, off bat crap lets execute somebody today to since I got my specs I can remember 3 things in a row, on really same as above.  middle east has long history as the Holy Land but Texas??????

Michele Bachmann Suggests Labor Camps for Immigrant Children

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/24/1316517/-Michele-Bachmann-Suggests-Labor-Camps-for-Immigrant-Children?detail=email

Even without Michele Bachmann, the GOP is still crazy | The ...

First Newt Gangrene suggested that poor kids be made indentured servants in order to get school lunches, now Michele Bachmann wants immigrant children to put into indentured servitude.
KCTV reports
Bachmann’s plan? Send those children to labor camps, which she warmly refers to as “Americanization Facilities,” with the goal of having them pay off their past, present, and future care expenses, while assimilating them into American culture. And in exchange for that labor, the children would be fast-tracked on a path to citizenship.
During an interview with Minnesota’s Twin Cities News Talk, Bachmann revealed her plan while addressing the border crisis.
there is a certain crazy to the things these republicans say but I believe them to be an insight to their ideology or idiotology  this shows you with all the talk again of a changed party at least the ones running in 2016 but remember they cannot like Pres. do most things on their own like betraying the party mantra of "hate everybody and everything money, power good,  help the people bad".  this Rand Paul and Cruz and Rubio quick change artistry is fake it's for those gullible enough to eat elephant dung, while they are singing Kumbaya, the party is still trying to yank the very fabric of the country out from under us and suppressing votes and rewriting zones to win by cheating.

clue if you bite and one wins their primary they will sell him as that fraud but once in office like the governors different day different crap all the promise and love dissolves in the acid rhetoric and deeds of republican politics.  remember Bachman's "let's not kill woman and children" get your belly laugh pants on,  btw, where's that "let's love people"?

Another Phony Scandal Blows Up in Issa's Face

darrell issa Political Cartoons

From politicususa.com:
Rep. Darrell Issa suffered a crushing defeat in his crusade to bring down President Obama when investigators concluded that top Obama aide David Simas did not violate the law by using taxpayer dollars for political activities. Bloomberg reported, “A special investigator’s office says it has found no evidence that David Simas, a top political aide to the president, violated a law that prohibits federal workers from engaging in partisan political activities. The White House Office of Political Outreach and Strategy “appears to be operating in a manner that is consistent with the Hatch Act,” said Carolyn Lerner, a lawyer at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel, whose job is to enforce that law and protect whistle-blowers.”
The investigator’s findings are a death blow to Darrell Issa’s claim that two members of the president’s cabinet violated the Hatch Act by using taxpayer dollars for partisan political activities. Yesterday, Rep. Issa wrote a letter to the White House that claimed, “With the 2014 campaign season underway, there are already reports that raise questions as to whether, on Mr. Simas’s watch, the White House is using taxpayer dollars for political activities. For example, the President’s June 26-27 trip to Minnesota consisted of a previously scheduled Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee fundraiser. Official activities were subsequently tacked onto the itinerary, ensuring that the President’s travel to the fundraiser was, at least partially, undertaken at taxpayer expense.

he always sounds so confident I guess when you believe your own lying rhetoric you have to have certain conviction to proving it, except there is only one truth but many misinformed assertions not surprisingly all come from the the republican backyard chicken coop.  they say insane people can pull off the appearance of sanity while in the throes of bat crap craziness which he has confirmed with all those repeat attempts at failure to pin his proverbial tale on the head donkey and always comes to the same end of the road, wonder if he has a secret room with pictures crossed through and dart holes in them and clippings from the papers when he starts the cycle but none at the end.

I think he's getting what he expects he knows these sop called scandals are just his personal contrivances so they can never be proven but at least he has a lead article that carries the accusation and the Obama name looks good till you read the article, then ...........................................................

Political Cartoons About Ted Nugent |Self Deprecate Political Humor
Apparently some momentum is building in the effort to cancel the concerts of racist homophobe, Ted Nugent.
From Northwest Cable News
Emerald Queen Casino will cancel two Ted Nugent concerts that were scheduled August 2 and 3 over allegations of racist remarks by the singer.
"The first amendment gives people the right free speech, but I think racism is intolerable and not acceptable here," said Puyallup Tribal Council Vice President Lawrence W. LaPointe. "We’ve been getting lots of complaints from the community and other organizations."
Kudos to The Puyallup Tribe for doing what is right.  In light of the fact "Terd" was booked for two nights, this is significant.

this is inspiring, to see these guys get what they deserve racist bigotry is fading in the wind hope they are up wind of the no bath in 30 days draft dodger probably could burn the hair out of your nose.  now let's see if those republicans who were hailing is "PATRIOTISM" for racially assaulting Pres. will help ol' boy with the bills or get him one of those 2010 promised jobs republicans never materialized.  now they need to go after RACIST RUSH and the rest of the good ol boyz.

Fox asks the most enlightening question in the history of political polling

Actual question from Fox's latest poll:
Do you think Barack Obama wants to be president anymore?
Fox says the results show a bare majority of the country—52 percent—do think he still wants the job. That's a good thing, because as much as it sucks having a lawless tyrannical dictator as president, imagine how much worse things could be if he didn't even want the job.
and now for the laugh of the day, I believe this question coming from them is not just rhetorical I think they are trying to plant the seeds of misleading and having you think that things are so bad because he doesn't want the job, well if we follow that line of thought the entire right wing of congress doesn't want their jobs, regardless to how cushy they've made it work if you can call showing up at the capitol and smoking cigars and plan how to sue the Pres. before taking off again.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2014/03/10/how-many-days-has-congress-actually-worked-in-2014/

first 3 months of the year they "WORKED" 28 days that is 41 days off.  look at May and June,

http://www.house.gov/legislative/

they are ripping us off to the tune of $170,000.00 a year and any labor performed is for republicans and big business who most don't pay tax so it's free rides all around.  we can stop this and identify the fraud Nov. 4th recognize

That FL CEO Who Said He'd FIRE Everyone if Obama Elected? Guess What Happened...

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/25/1316539/-That-FL-CEO-Who-Said-He-d-FIRE-Everyone-if-Obama-Elected-Guess-What-Happened?detail=email#
David Siegel Jacqueline Siegel The Queen of Versailles
"The Queen of Versailles" was a film documentary based on the sleazy time-share mogul, David Siegel, and his wife, Jackie.  David had major financial troubles following Bush's 2008 economic crises.  He even had to stop work on his private home, dubbed "Versailles", which was to be the largest home in the U.S.  Poor guy.
Naturally, Obama was to blame for this.  As you may recall during the peak of the presidential campaign, Mr. Siegel penned a letter threatening to fire all his employees and close down his Orlando-based company, Westgate, if Obama was elected.  A snippet from the full letter:
So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company. Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone.
So, when you make your decision to vote, ask yourself, which candidate understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn't? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of protecting and saving your job. While the media wants to tell you to believe the "1 percenters" are bad, I'm telling you they are not. They create most of the jobs. If you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the "1%"; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country.
You see, I can no longer support a system that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about.
Signed, your boss

keep in mind we heard this throughout the right wing business world everyone was going to close shop fire everyone and declare bankruptcy, well all those gloom and doomer's are fat cats and doing great though you might not know because they are still engaging in Obama bashing you know doing their part for the party, can you trust people in business you know are perpetrators of false and misleading info, or who unlawfully try to scare a vote for republicans out of their employees remember the coal mine owner who threatened his employees to vote for LYIN RYAN AND ROMNEY?

http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2012/10/05/966981/coal-workers-say-murray-energy-coerces-them-to-make-gop-donations-if-you-dont-contribute-your-jobs-at-stake/

Instead of his company being dragged down by the evil black man in the Oval Office, his company started flourishing again.  The Obama recovery saw companies make record profits, and Siegel's was no exception.  Today, Westgate is doing better than ever.  Under Obama, we also have had the best stock market in history, so investors like Siegel made out like bandits.  (Obama=worst socialist ever).
Instead of firing, Siegel has had to hire more people.  Since his employees were finally able to get reasonably-priced health insurance, he was free to invest his money in all kinds of things.  He bought the Orlando Predators.  He also bought a massive hotel/casino in Las Vegas.  Saints be praised, he was even able to finally start work again on his gaudy, 90,000 square foot house complete with a bowling alley, a 30-car garage, and a roller-skating rink.
Turns out that he never had any intention to flee to the Caribbean.

now his more honest patron see him as the republican shill and liar that he is.  must be carful what wagon you hitch your horse to you are judged by the load you carry

Fox & Friends Seems Concerned That Emergency Services Respond To 911 Calls From Non-Citizens

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/07/23/fox-amp-friends-wonders-why-9-11-responds-to-em/200181
... the IMMEDIATE response of FIRE TRUCK, AMBULANCE or LAW ENFORCEMENT
Fox News' morning program questioned a Texas official about providing emergency services to undocumented migrants, asking whether 911 calls from immigrants must be answered "even though for the most part, when you get there, you realize they're not even American citizens."
On July 23, Fox & Friends centered a discussion on how undocumented immigrants in Brooks County, Texas are "bombarding" the police department with 911 calls. Host Brian Kilmeade set up an interview with the Texas county's chief deputy by claiming that "illegal immigrants are learning the hard way there's a deadly cost to crossing the border." Kilmeade suggested Brooks County emergency response services might be strained because, "not only are they understaffed and lacking resources, now they've got to deal with illegal immigrants who have no business being here."

As an example, the program aired two emergency calls from Spanish speakers each identified on-screen as "Immigrant." In the first, a distressed male requests emergency assistance for his cousin, whom the man described as "turning blue." Another call featured a man and woman explaining to the 911 operator that they have not had access to water in three days.
Kilmeade asked the deputy, "So those calls, you have to respond to, even though for the most part, when you get there you realize, they're not even American citizens?"

this is so disgusting, this is Fox throwing red meat to their base of haters the same ones who wrap themselves in that religious freedom flag will acting and talking in an extreme Godless fashion.  judgment day will be a real shindig for these people God does not like ugly if he/she did they would have put it as a teaching point in the Apostle's books, but instead it's the opposite that was taught.

to make your own rules of religios ideology is tantamount to having a God complex, Commandment say "THOU SHALT HAVE NO GODS BEFORE ME", they forget that part maybe because it condemns them from the start.

never heard "if you are not American don't bother calling 911", have you?

Maggots in the Meat: Privatization is a Failed Experiment

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/22/1315766/-Privatization-is-a-Failed-Experiment?detail=email
Russian Soldiers Complain Of Maggot-Infested Food
I've long felt the latest incarnation of conservatism should be called out for what it is....a radical experiment. Yeah, they try to wrap themselves in a historical context wearing those stupid tricorn hats and antebellum garb, groping at the Boston tea party history like drunks after a busty bar maid....but it's all just for show. The recent brand of conservatism is an extreme experiment and the American People are the lab rats in some Ayn Randian dystopian social experiment known as "Privatize Everything".... because while conservatives prance around with the American flag, America and the States are somehow, inexplicably inherently incompetent at absolutely everything.
So how's this social experiment working out?
Well...the currently and unprecedentedly deep red Michigan government saw fit to privatize the prison food system, shelling out millions in taxpayer dollars to Aramark, a private food, facility, and uniform services. And what did we end up with?  Maggots in the meat. Untrained staff who can't keep track of steel kitchen equipment, and who consort with the inmates bringing in all sorts of contraban from drugs to phones....food left out, filthy kitchens, staffing shortages, and SIXTY FIVE instances where the prisons RAN OUT OF FOOD because apparently Aramark executives are too busy cramming their pockets with tax payer money to actually.....you know.....DO THEIR JOBS.

privatization is one of those right wing things that republicans refer to when they say gov't and to many regulations prevent business from flourishing, well we see now that there is a desperate need for those agencies that protect us from those privatized freedoms. this is not a Democratic endeavor it's republican through and through.  with the practices they employ now they are flourishing and their regulation of unfit living conditions, tainted food is being imposed on those who are unfortunately a resident.

if we allow this privatizing to continue it will end up in your kids lunch room, they've been trying to privatize all public schools for years if we don't show up and vote them out Nov. 4th and 2016 pray for your family member who might be incarcerated and double down on those prayers for your school age kids. recognize

McDonald's fires woman arrested for letting her kid go to the park alone

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/22/1315819/-McDonald-s-fires-woman-arrested-for-letting-her-kid-go-to-the-park-alone?detail=email

A disgusting, terrible story, just got disgusting-er and terribler: McDonald's has fired Debra Harrell, the woman who was arrested for letting her nine-year-old daughter play alone at the park while she was at work. Because what else is a working mother who can't afford expensive summer camps do?
Harrell originally had her daughter come to work with her and play on a laptop during her summer vacation, but their home was burglarized and the laptop stolen, so she allowed her daughter to go to a well-populated park with a cell phone for emergencies. And for that she was arrested. Now:
While Robert Phillips, the attorney representing her pro bono at McGowan, Hood & Felder, said that she was released from jail the day after she was arrested on bond, he confirmed that she had been let go from her job. He didn’t have any information as to why. A spokesperson for McDonald’s declined to comment, saying it is inappropriate to discuss a human resources issue. She also said the company is cooperating with local police in their investigation of the situation.

The good news is that Harrell has been reunited with her daughter, as Phillips confirmed.

what MCDONALD'S should have done was make some sort of effort to assist their under paid employees with a day care option at no cost, with over billions served I'm sure they would make it up from the goodwill that action would build with their patrons would be priceless.

instead they fire her making the situation even worst now with no income, job opportunities not good and gov't service waiting to break that family up because of some uncaring law and with republicans trying to kill our social safety net what can she do?

big corporations who hire at under livable wages should be forced to make changes, but as long as there are towns or cities or states of those who don't care and choose the revenue of big business over the people these giant corps will thrive, they do what they do because not enough noise made against them.
