Earlier this week, Trump showed just how ignorant he is of the law in a bumbling interview with George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s This Week. The host didn’t go easy on Trump in a conversation about the Supreme Court and the appointment of justices, and Trump showed himself to be utterly unqualified to be in any position of political power, much less president of the United States and leader of the free world. Here is a transcript of the exchange, courtesy of The New Civil Rights Movement:
STEPHANOPOULOS: Let’s talk about some of the issues. Judges. What kind of judges will you appoint? Will they be conservative?What does that mean to you and how will you ensure it?
TRUMP: Well, first of all, we have a lot of judges that have to be appointed because we have a lot of openings in terms of judges. And I’m very happy about that, to be honest, because I think, you know, appointing judges is a very important and a very, frankly, a very, very important element of what we’re doing.
STEPHANOPOULOS: But Ted Cruz says he’s going to appoint rock rib conservatives with a paper trail. What are you going to do?
TRUMP: Well, I’m going to appoint conservative judges. I’m going to appoint people that have great reputations, that are great with the legal profession…
STEPHANOPOULOS: Like?
TRUMP: Well, I can say like any — you know a judge who is a totally underrated and not spoken is Justice Thomas. I mean, if you look at — if you look at some of the judges that we have like on the Supreme Court, Justice Roberts turned out to be a nightmare for conservatives. I mean…
STEPHANOPOULOS: But how are you going to…
TRUMP: Wait, let me first say. Ted Cruz, was the one that really wanted Justice Roberts to go on the Supreme Court. You know that, right? Have you heard that?
STEPHANOPOULOS: So, how are you going to make sure you don’t get a Justice Roberts? Are you going to ask your appointees…
TRUMP: Well, excuse me, excuse me, how are they going to make sure? Bush appointed him. And Cruz was the biggest advocate. Cruz fought like hell to get Justice Roberts in there. Justice Roberts turned out to be an absolute disaster. He turned out to be an absolute disaster because he gave us Obamacare. So, you tell me, ask Cruz, why did he push…
STEPHANOPOULOS: I’m asking you. How are you going to make sure?
TRUMP: No, I’m asking you, why did he push so hard to have a judge who has absolutely set the conservative movement back and said everything…
STEPHANOPOULOS: When I interview him, I’ll ask him. How you’re going to make sure you don’t get betrayed by your appointees.
TRUMP: I will study it carefully. I will work with people that I respect, conservative people, and we’ll appoint judges that will be good. And I don’t think I’ll have any catastrophic appointment like Justice Roberts, which was really more than anybody else, pushed by Cruz and Bush.
With this level of incompetency on full display for all to see, Trump went on Fox News Sunday to redeem himself on the same issue and this time, he did what every Republican does when trying to woo audiences and cover up for mistakes: he turned the discussion to those Fox viewers hate the most: LGBT people. In fact, Trump says that if he is elected president, the justices on his Supreme Court will be those who oppose marriage equality, and he would find a way to have them throw out the Obergefell v. Hodges decision that made equal marriage the law of the land.
First, Trump dodged the question, simply telling host Chris Wallace:
“They have ruled on it. I wish it was done by the states.”
Wallace didn’t let Trump off the hook though, and plowed on, finally forcing Trump to say to the conservative audience on the issue of justices who would overturn the marriage equality decision:
“I would strongly consider that, yes.”
There you have it, folks. We knew Trump was a bigot, but he had never come out and said he’d actively work to roll back LGBT right on this level. Not surprising at all, though. Just another reason to make sure his fantasy of ruling America never becomes a reality.
Wallace was in rare form taking on number 1 and 2 but there was little difference both substituted their opinions for those who know and there was no reference to across the isle it was all right wing agenda that alone being able to appoint judges is reason to vote in your own interest not right wing exclusionary interest.

Just a day before the Iowa caucuses, a former field organizer for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has come forward with accusations that Trump’s campaign grossly discriminated against women, paying them less than the male employees doing the same exact work.
These completely believable accusations were made by Elizabeth Mae Davidson and published by  The New York Times. The 26-year-old staffer had been working for Trump’s campaign in Davenport, Iowa but was fired a month ago – despite being previously described as one of the campaign’s most effective organizers.
On Thursday, Davidson filed a complaint about the discrimination with the Davenport Civil Rights Commission. Aside from the gender pay discrimination, Davidson reported that she was also given less opportunities to advance her career and skills. To make matters worse, female staffers were also subjected to inappropriate comments about their appearance – from Donald Trump himself. The Times wrote:
[Davidson] said in a discrimination complaint that men doing the same jobs were paid more and were allowed to plan and speak at rallies, while her requests to do so were ignored. She also said that when she and a young female volunteer met Mr. Trump at a rally last summer, he told them, “You guys could do a lot of damage,” referring to their looks.
In an interview, Davidson revealed that she was paid $2,000 per month. Because she was also working as a paralegal, she was considered a part-time staffer by the campaign. However, one of her male peers with the exact same role in the campaign was paid almost double despite the fact that he also has another job! Trump’s campaign public filings state that several men filling the same role as Davidson were being paid between $3,500 to $4,000 a month.
According to Dorothy A. O’Brien, Davidson’s attorney, the complaint will trigger the Davenport civil rights agency to investigate Trump’s campaign, and after 60 days Davidson can choose to let the agency continue its investigation or follow suit in state court.
Considering Trump’s horrible track record of sexist, misogynistic comments toward women, it’s not a big surprise to hear that his campaign was discriminating against its female staffers. When Davidson was asked if she would be attending Monday’s caucuses, she was undecided. She said:
“Some of the bad things about him I dismissed, because I was working for the candidate. Now I’m more critical, especially how he treats women.”
We don’t blame her.

Moroccan asylum-seekers Attacked in Hate Crime at Shelter in Stockholm

Masked and dressed in black, nearly 100 men came together in Stockholm Friday to decry refugees as well as distribute pamphlets telling people they should do the same, the BBC reported.
The pamphlets reportedly read, “It’s enough now!” and, “North African street children who were roaming around [should get] the punishment they deserve.” A police spokesperson said there were no reports of violence against refugees, but there were witness accounts of men beating up people who appeared to be foreign.
Four people have been charged in relation to the incident, the Guardian reported. One was charged with assaulting a police officer, and the others were charged with causing a public disturbance and wearing a mask in public, a crime in Sweden.
Sweden has seen some 163,000 refugees, most from the Middle East, apply for asylum in the past year — the most per capita in Europe — which has heightened tensions in the country. This week, a 22-year-old woman who worked at a center for children seeking asylum was fatally stabbed, for which a 15-year-old asylum-seeker was arrested on suspicion of murder, the BBC reported.
Many of those seeking asylum in Europe are Syrians, Afghans and Iraqis escaping conflict in their homelands driven by the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, Al Jazeera reported. Sweden could expel 80,000 refugees the because of rejected applications for asylum.
“I think many people are concerned and worried that there will be more violence since Sweden has received so many unaccompanied children and young people,” Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven said, according to the Guardian. “Many of those who come young to Sweden have traumatic experiences, and there are no easy answers.”

Fox Host Corners Ted Cruz: 'More People Have Jobs And Health Insurance' After Obamacare

Fox News host Chris Wallace cornered Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz on Sunday about his claim that President Barack Obama's health care reform law had cost jobs.
"The fact checkers say you're wrong," Wallace told Cruz. "Since that law went into effect, the unemployment rate fell from 9.9% to 5% as 13 million new jobs were created, and 16.3 million people who were previously uninsured now have coverage."
"There are plenty of problems with Obamacare, but more people have jobs and health insurance," the Fox News host added.
Cruz, however, argued that the fact checkers were wrong because they were biased.
"Fact checkers are not fair and impartial," he stated "They are liberal editorial journalists. And they have made it their mission to defend Obamacare."
"Wait," Wallace interrupted. "There's certainly no question that more people have jobs and more people health insurance."
"Yes, there is question," Cruz insisted "The fact is from 2008 to today, we've seen economic growth of 1.2% on average."
The Texas senator became irritated as the Fox News host pressed for an answer to his original question.
"Chris, don't interrupt me," Cruz snapped.
"That's changing the subject," Wallace noted. "Thirteen million new jobs have been created."
"And that is a historically slow rate of job creation," Cruz replied.
According to the GOP hopeful, small business owners told him that they were "praying" to be saved from Obamacare.
Wallace pointed out that the Cruz plan to replace the Affordable Care Act -- by selling insurance across state lines, expanding health savings accounts and making insurance portable between jobs -- "would have almost no effect in giving people who are not uninsured health coverage."
Cruz said that the conclusions of organizations like that Congressional Budget Office about his plan were "simply not accurate."
"This law is a disaster," Cruz opined. "People are hurting."

i watched this today it was well checkout the video 11th hour and still repeating debunked lies on OBAMACARES, it was sad to watch Wallace did a good job he exposed the dishonesty on the republican side and their refusal to accept truth that is stupid he's asserting his misinformation as true in place of those who actually know and he is number 2 in the primary race somebody really needs to get to the republican base or are they content with liars and schemers it looks like they are.

Cruz traced the beginning of the nation’s troubles to “the beginning of progressivism at the beginning of the last century,” the Humanist Manifesto, and when “Marxism began to be immersed into a lot of our universities” and faulted churches for allowing “this misconstrued idea of separation of church and state, which is neither in the Constitution or in the Declaration.”
Loesch, who has endorsed the Texas Republican's campaign bid, told Rafael Cruz that with the 2016 election, “we’re either on the cusp of another great awakening, or we are on the cusp of America as we know it ending entirely,” which of course Cruz agreed was true.
That's where his 'truth' goes off the rails. Reagan damn near destroyed this country while he was president, and Republicans ever since have done more to compound that harm than anyone else. Barack Obama, on the other hand, did the best he could to clean up most of the mess they left behind, but it's going to take another Democrat to continue that process.

Fox And Friends Bashes President Obama For Visiting Mosque

President Obama plans to visit a Baltimore, MD. area mosque this Wednesday, February 3rd. Fox 'News' felt the urge to trot out its 'expert' on Islamic matters, Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, who is so 'pro-Muslim' he praised Bibi Netanyahu's address to the U.S. Congress.
Depending upon who's reporting, the Islamic Center of Baltimore is either a mosque which has been plagued with threats of violence to their members or it is a mosque with extremist ties to terrorist organizations. Guess which one the right-wingers are favoring?
Conservative tabloids like the Washington Times have to go all the way back to the 1970's to find a link between an old Imam and the Muslim Brotherhood of the Sudan. Therefore, it is undoubtedly an Islamic Center doubling as a recruitment center for terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah and ISIS, never mind which groups are hardly friendly to each other. Generalizing all Muslims as suspicious helps Fox 'News' demonize the president for reaching out to any Muslim group. The Baltimore Sun reports the visit like this:
President Barack Obama will visit a mosque in Baltimore County on Wednesday amid growing concern about hostility directed toward Muslim Americans. It will be Obama's first visit to an American mosque as president.
Administration officials and academics have pointed to an increase in attacks against Muslims and Sikhs, prompting a meeting with faith leaders at the White House in December. Several of the leaders called for Obama to visit a mosque at that time, and White House officials said they were considering it.
Since Fox 'News' is the propaganda promoter of the GOP, Islam must be portrayed as a violent and dangerous faith, at all costs. Dr. Jasser happens to be the same guy whom laid blame upon the Obama Administration for the attacks in Paris in November, 2015. Of course he will find something wrong with everything the Obama Administration does with regards to forging positive ties with the Muslim-American community.
Jasser claims that the website for the Islamic Center is vague as to what it supports, but it seems as if their website is much like any community-based, religious institute. There are up to the minute Tweets regarding issues like weather and safety, which seem innocuous. There's plenty of detail regarding times of prayer and nothing about ties to any groups with suspicious motives.
 The Muslim 'expert' claims that this particular mosque is very into gender apartheid and homophobia. Strange how he forgets that Fundamentalist Christian theology is also rather misogynist and homophobic, but that doesn't count. In fact, all three Abrahamic Religions have elements of homophobia and misogyny, so this is nothing exclusive to Islam. Trump supporter Franklin Graham acknowledged that the Bible is laden with homophobic and misogynist tenets and we must support them.

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump revealed on Sunday that his plan for replacing President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act was to "work something out" after he repeals Obamacare.
During a telephone interview on ABC's This Week, host George Stephanopoulos asked Trump to answer Ted Cruz's charge that he was advocating for a single-payer health insurance system to replace the Affordable Care Act.
"Ted Cruz is a total liar," Trump replied dismissively. "I am so against Obamacare. I've been saying it for two years in my speeches. I'm going to repeal and replace Obamacare. I don't know even where he gets this. But he's a liar."
Stephanopoulos pointed out that Trump was on record wanting everyone to be covered by health care insurance.
"That's true," Trump insisted. "I want people taken care of, I have a heart. If people have no money, we have to help people, but that doesn't mean single payer. It means we have to help people."
"How do you do it?" the ABC host asked.
"We're going to work with our hospitals, we're going to work with our doctors," Trump said. "We've got to do something. You can't have a small percentage of our economy -- because they're down and out -- have absolutely no protection so they end up dying."
"We'll work something out," he added. "That doesn't mean single payer."
i seem to remember this is what Pres. did to get the best plan he could with republican obstruction so Trump is planning to use the same plan but he thinks it will be better, why republicans will be on his side he is delusional to many cook arguing over the menu leaves us with burnt boil overs and nothing for public consumption bottom line 7 years of obstructing and repeal and replace but no one ever thought to devise te replace????  talk is cheap republican talk just lies and innuendo and no healthcare plan.

Fox News' Megyn Kelly pressed New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie during Thursday evening's debate about racial profiling and the San Bernardino shooting, asking if spotting Muslims should be deemed suspicious enough to call the police.
In a question directed to Christie, Kelly said the neighbors of the San Bernardino gunmen didn't report the couple to law enforcement "because they were afraid they would be accused of racial profiling."
"Now you have said we should not profile. How do you square that with the San Bernardino case?" Kelly asked.
Christie answered, "you can do it without profiling, Megyn. You do it on the facts. What those folks knew was that these folks had weapons, they knew that they were talking about trying to take our country and attack it. That's not profiling, that's law enforcement."
"They didn't know they were going to attack the country," Kelly responded.
Christie tried to clarify: "They knew they were talking about the issues of attacking people, Megyn. They knew that."
But Kelly pressed on, saying the neighbors "saw men going in and out of the garage."
"They saw packages being delivered. They saw Muslims, and they did not think that was enough to call the cops. Do you?" she asked.
Christie responded that people should use common sense, and allow law enforcement to make decisions about what warrants further investigation.

When word got back to the refuge that Ammon Bundy et. al. had been captured, and a person shot and killed, on their way to a propaganda meeting in Grant County, the brave at the refuge jumped ship. Quickly. Many left their weapons behind, not to mention a bevy of personal belongings fearing immediate reprisal from LE. 
I would guess there’s plenty of evidence left behind for LE to rifle through when they finally end this and get inside to do so.

No bail for Bundys: Authorities call militants who occupied Oregon wildlife refuge ‘flight risks’

A Federal judge ruled on Friday that Oregon militant leaders Ammon and Ryan Bundy and Ryan Payne, would not be eligible for bail before being tried on federal charges, Oregon Public Broadcasting reported.
As KOIN-TV reported, federal prosecutors argued in court documents that all three men, as well as the other militants arrested earlier this week, posed flight risks and should not be released.
The Bundys, prosecutors said, lacked “ties to the District of Oregon” despite their visibility.
“This creates an inherent risk of flight. Moreover, [their] own statements demonstrate his unwillingness to comply with the terms of pretrial supervision.”
Prosecutors also called Payne a “substantial danger to the community,” citing several statements from him in the past regarding his role as an “on-the-ground commander” for the Bundys’ father, anti-government rancher Cliven Bundy during a standoff at his Nevada ranch in 2014.
“I was Mr. Bundy’s militia liaison,” Payne said in an interview published at the time. “He would tell me what he had planned, and then I would advise him as to what the militia could accomplish in support of that.”
All three men were charged with conspiracy to impede federal officers, as were 44-year-old Brian Cavalier and 59-year-old Shawna Cox, the other two people arrested with them on Tuesday night.
Update, 6:51 p.m. EST: The Oregonian reported that Cavalier was also denied bail.
Ammon Bundy also reportedly addressed the court, describing himself as a “federalist” out to protect peoples’ rights. He also said that he was “done with Harney County.”

The Fox News Republican debate without front-runner Donald Trump received the second-lowest viewership ratings of the seven such televised encounters among Republicans so far this election cycle, CNN reported on Friday.
But CNN said the debate was still rated more highly than coverage of a rally at the same time that was hosted by Trump, who boycotted the Fox News event in a fight with the network.
Citing early data from measurement company Nielsen, CNN said the Fox News debate in Iowa on Thursday had a household rating of 8.4, beating only an earlier debate on the less-prominent Fox Business Network.
That rating means 8.4 percent of U.S. so-called metered market homes with TV sets watched the face-off, CNN said.
Other Republican debates ahead of the Nov. 8 presidential election have had much higher ratings. Full viewership numbers will be released later on Friday, CNN said. Fox News said it had no comment on viewer figures.
Billionaire Trump refused to participate in the debate out of anger that Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly was a moderator. Last-minute phone calls with Fox News Chairman Roger Ailes failed to resolve their dispute.
Instead, Trump he held his own rally in Iowa at the same time, which he promoted as a way to raise money for charity.
Cable channels that showed parts of Trump’s event combined for about a quarter of the debate audience, CNN said.
Trump often claims on the campaign trail that he is responsible for strong viewership of Republican debates. And even though he boycotted Thursday’s event, he managed to upstage it, dominating Twitter mentions and Google searches during the debate.
The prime-time event lacked some of the heat Trump often injects into debates and instead focused largely on policy. His absence also allowed former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie time to make their case to voters seeking a mainstream candidate.

Fox News host Bill O’Reilly confirmed on Friday that his program has not offered Rick Santorum’s presidential campaign any attention, but insisted there was a good reason for doing so.
“Honestly, we looked for a reason to put the senator on, but we couldn’t find any,” the Factor host said. “His poll numbers are very low. His campaign strategy is what it was four years ago. There is simply nothing new.”
Santorum complained after a GOP debate on Thursday night that neither O’Reilly nor his colleague Megyn Kelly have invited him onto their programs despite announcing his candidacy last May.
“They won’t put me on the show. And this is a guy that won the Iowa caucuses four years ago, and when you look at their biggest primetime shows, we haven’t had access to their shows,” Santorum told Breitbart News.
O’Reilly did not dispute the candidate’s argument, saying, “I feel Rick Santorum’s pain,” and saying that voters “could do worse” in choosing him. At the same time, he added that his show was “not in the campaigning business.”
“We don’t put politicians on the air simply to spout their slogans,” O’Reilly argued. “That’s what political ads are for. We cover the news. And when a politician is in the news, they get on the program.”
That was the reason, he said, why Donald Trump has received more coverage than Santorum and other candidates.
“He is dominating the news cycle by injecting controversy into the political arena. And you know what? That’s not fair,” O’Reilly said. “Other candidates are being left out. Like Rick Santorum.”

I will state right up front that I don’t know anyone who intends on voting for Donald Trump — or any other Republican for that matter — at either the primary or the national level.
Like Pauline Kael, who once said, “I live in a rather special world. I only know one person who voted for Nixon,” I too live a “special world” devoid of ALL-CAPS! flag-waving ‘Muricans. Or maybe they exist around me but they have the common decency to keep it to themselves — like Scientologists and pedophiles.
To say that the run-up to this GOP primary is a “half bubble off plumb” would be gross understatement.
We have never seen the likes of a Donald Trump on the campaign trail — making like Tom and Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby, smashing up “things and creatures” and then retreating “back into their money or their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”
I, for one, have no idea what Trump’s endgame is or whether he is trapped by his success like Max Bialystock in The Producers, as Joe Scarborough once noted in one of his rare lucid moments.
So I guess Republican voters could be forgiven for not knowing whether to “shit or go blind,” as Zeno of Elea so puckishly put it in Parmenides. It’s in there, trust me.
Which brings us to the voters of Iowa and New Hampshire who are going to set the tone in the next couple of weeks.
As regards Iowa’s caucuses, we know one thing: they don’t mean jack.
Past two winners: Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee.
They’re more like the people you see at the track who bet on the horses depending on what colors the jockey is wearing that particular race — even if the horse is limping badly. Which is to say, yes, some people are thinking about voting for Carly.

Journalists and pundits across the political spectrum are stepping up to defend the Fox News anchor after Trump labeled her a "lightweight journalist" leading up to Fox News' January 28 GOP primary debate, which he declined to participate in. Kelly's defenders have called out the sexism in Trump's attacks while lauding her as a "real journalist willing to stick her neck out to defend the vulnerable." But in doing so, they have bought into the distorted persona she has carefully crafted for herself -- that of the credible journalist, distinct from other Fox figures who are more obviously partisan.
That image has been bolstered by a series of glowing profiles of Kelly that describe her as a "take-no-prisoners newswoman" who "isn't afraid to throw hardballs at Republicans" and have called her "the brightest star at Fox News" who "transcends politics with her skillful skewering of windbags of both parties." 
Fox helped Kelly reinforce that image in Fox's first GOP primary debate, where Kelly posed a series of tough questions to the candidates -- most notably challenging Trump on his history of sexism -- and persuaded many of the 24 million viewers that she is a serious journalist. Fox's January 28 GOP debate will likely provide yet another opportunity for Kelly to amplify this deceptive image by deviating from her usual bigotry and right-wing misinformation to ask tough questions while all eyes are on her.
The media is right to call out the sexism of Trump's attacks on Megyn Kelly, but to argue that she is a serious, legitimate journalist while doing so misses the mark.
Outside of Fox's debate scene, Kelly has repeatedly used her authority to prop up conservative misinformation from The Kelly File's anchor desk. In the first two weeks of 2016, she spent over 1 hour and 22 minutes promoting Michael Bay's myth-filled Benghazi movie as "the gripping new film that may pose a threat to Hillary Clinton's hopes for the White House." Kelly regularly hosts the leader of an anti-LGBT hate group, and has a long history of offensive, discriminatory comments about minorities.
Kelly has also used her primetime Fox show to push falsehoods about Planned Parenthood, most recently asking whether the grand jury indictment of two members of the group that released deceptively edited smear videos to attack the organization was a "political hit job." Kelly once told Charlie Rose she's "not an opinion maker," yet she has repeatedly advocated for conservative causes and spread misinformation -- and has gotten away with it because there are journalists willing to call her credible

Michigan Officials Quietly Gave Bottled Water To State Employees Months Before Flint Residents

The Michigan Department of Technology, Management & Budget decided to haul water coolers into the Flint state building in January of 2015 out of concern over the city’s water quality, a year before bottled water was being made available to residents, according to documents obtained by Progress Michigan.
Flint switched its water source from Detroit to the Flint River in April 2014, which is now known to have caused lead to leach into the city’s tap water. After two boil advisories were issued in August and September of 2014, the city sent residents a notice that the level of trihalomethanes (TTHMs), which can cause liver and kidney problems, had exceed federal limits, although they were told that it was still fine to use the water and no corrective actions needed to be taken.
But concerns raised over water quality were enough for officials in the state’s capitol of Lansing to decide to give state employees the option to drink bottled water from coolers, rather than from water fountains. Coolers were placed next to the fountains on each occupied floor, according to the documents, and were to be provided “as long as the public water does not meet treatment requirements.”

For residents, however, it took researchers uncovering elevated levels of lead in children’s bloodstreams for a lead advisory to finally be issued in September of 2015. Residents were told not to drink the water and a public health emergency was declared by the Genesee County Health Department in October, and Flint’s mayor declared a state of emergency in December. The National Guard was activated in January of this year to distribute water from five fire stations — a full year after water was brought in for state employees out of concern over water quality.
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R), whose administration some have said made the decision to switch to the Flint River, has claimed he didn’t know about the water problems until recently. But the plan to use that source was evaluated and rejected by the city’s emergency manager in 2012, according to a deposition. And while the purported reason for making the change in the first place was to save money while another pipeline was being built, leaked emails show that the city could have stayed with Detroit’s water and saved the same amount of money anyway.

Of course, he’s been saying this since 1996.
“I have friends that are in the FBI and they tell me they’re ready to indict,” DeLay said on Newsmax TV’s “The Steve Malzberg Show” on Monday.
“They’re ready to recommend an indictment, and they also say that if the attorney general does not indict, they’re going public. So one way or another, either she’s going to be indicted and that process begins, or we try her in the public eye with her campaign,” he told the conservative news outlet. “One way or another, she’s going to have to face these charges.”
Tom DeLay, Constitutional Scholar, appears to be unaware that the FBI does not indict.
He also appears to not understand that Hillary is bulletproof. Just ask Trey Gowdy.

Katy Tur spent some time trying to verify the beneficiary of tonight's Trump Alternative To Fox News' Debate, to no avail.
According to her report above, they reached out to all of the main veterans' charities and could find none who had been contacted by the Trump campaign about partnering with them.
All of which is very interesting, considering that back in September, Trump held an "event" for a veterans' charity that isn't really a charity.
Remember Rachel Maddow's report about "Veterans for a Strong America" back in September?
That was the "veterans group" Donald Trump was supposedly raising money for on a decommissioned battleship out here in California. Except they aren't a tax-exempt organization anymore.
Prior to VSA, he was a staff member of Vets for Freedom, described on his LinkedIn profile as yet another nonpartisan nonprofit. Vets for Freedom at the time was run by conservative Republican Pete Hegseth, who now leads Concerned Veterans of America.
Mother Jones reported that Veterans for a Strong America was a registered 501(c)(4), but news reports indicate that the organization had its tax-exempt status revoked by the IRSbecause it failed to submit Form 990s for three years running. However, regardless of the IRS action, the “Veterans for a Strong America Action Group” appears on the Center for Responsive Politics website as a super PAC with several five-figure donations from Veterans for a Strong America 
The PAC’s expenditures were in support of Mitt Romney for president ($125,080) and Rick Berg, a Republican running in North Dakota for the Senate ($45,000). Arends appears as the treasurer of the super PAC. At a minimum, it would appear that Arends and the Veterans for a Strong America, if that is anything more than Arends under a different name, are hardly nonpartisan. The PAC’s disclosure of several five-figure donations from VSA makes it appear like VSA is the 501(c)(4) that camouflages the donors who would otherwise be revealed if they were to give to the Super PAC directly.
So here we have an organization which is run by a guy formerly associated with the former director of the Koch-backed Concerned Veterans for America, which benefitted from a Donald Trump appearance on a battleship and no longer enjoys tax-exempt status.
okay one point if this is true and i trust Rachel's reporting Trump just showed himself to not be such a great deal maker as he claims according to his people he gave up his time and cost to get there and knew nothing of who or where or what which i'm sure are in the top 5 rules of making a deal and make no mistake what he claims he's obligated to instead of debating is a deal nod of head shake of hand no difference but it does show one of several cracks that are spreading throughout his candidacy and his qualifications to lead.

I've been watching Donald Trump pretty closely (How to avoid it? Dear God in Heaven, how to avoid it?) and I have a theory. Bear with me now, because at first you're going to laugh. I know I did. But here it is: The billionaire Trump would rather die than be president of the United States. But then he'd rather die than give up the attention, the fabulous, almost surreal attention. From the people, from the press, from the Big Guys in Washington, from the world! It's all his! Donald Trump's! He can't give it up! He just can't! But, damn, he does not want to be president.
One day, back in 2015, the showman Trump, the billionaire Donald, ridiculed by many, unliked by most, on a lark, dipped his toe--the most amazing toe in the world, let him tell you--into the presidential pool, and something magical happened. People--ordinary people--liked him! They really, really liked him! Some of them thought he'd make a great president! Not just a great president but the greatest president this country had ever seen! Maybe the greatest in the world! Him! Donald Trump!
He came up with a clever slogan. Such a clever slogan, you wouldn't believe: "Make America great again!" Word got around that this billionaire with no political ties was going to make America great again. The crowds came. They roared. He roared. They were hooked. He was hooked.
It didn't matter that he didn't have a plan. It was enough that he agreed to hate all the people they hated, that he spoke off the cuff, that he said the most outrageous things--godawful things--and got away with it. It became a spectacle and the show began to run on its own steam. It was better than any juicy, shocking reality show. It was better because they were all in it, participating, instead of just watching it on their TV screens.
But then something happened. Donald Trump began to be taken seriously. Some members of the fawning press went from enjoying the pure folly of it to asking him the hard questions. The questions any serious presidential candidate should know. Questions about the economy, about policy, about world affairs. But that's not what interested him. Not in the least.
this is lengthy but i think spot on the way he has this matter of fact, aw i don't care say what want is an indicator of someone who has talked themselves into a whole and now everybody is looking down on him some look up but a message of hate is not a hard sell like leading a thirsty horse to water he will drink so they call it touching a nerve i call it another rich guy speaking hate and bigotry which the base sees as validation for who ant what they are.  

now he' getting all the praise and endorsing from the dregs of our society which muddles his image as billionaire entrepreneur and relegates him down to that level he now is one of them and i don't think someone who is a 24/7 self aggrandizing i'm all that and a chicken wing wants that association.  which could be the beginning of what maybe a not so smooth way out.  just a thought

Skipping the Talking Points Memo, The Factor began Wednesday's show with Donald Trump, who has vowed to boycott this week's Fox News debate. "I was not treated well by Fox," Trump alleged. "Megyn Kelly asked me a very unfair question in the last Fox News debate, but I gave a great answer and everyone said I won that debate. 
This also has to do with the attitude of Fox and the stupidity of what they did. I don't like being used, but last week I agreed to do this show with you and I did not cancel." Trump also said there are just too many Republican debates. "We have had six debates so far and every online poll said I won all six. The Democrats are all finished with their debates and we're going to go on forever. We have people in our debates who are at zero in the polls!" 
The Factor advised Trump that he may be pursuing the wrong strategy: "I don't think your not showing up at the debate is good for America. Voters are still assessing you and need to see you in high profile situations. By doing this, you lose an opportunity to convince others. I'm trying to convince you that your tactics are wrong, I think you should be the bigger man."
i watched a recording of this today and couldn't wait to delete it.  one ting that was curious was bilo making sense on his advise i think that he was doing it for his own ratings and the networks per Roger Ailes.  
Trump ha lost it he can no longer pretend to be the big dog in the room when a female can bring him down or should i say melt him down.  i can see it now he sits across from Putin with a crap eating grin on his face and Putin bust out laughing blowing snot bubbles.

This week, to hear him tell it, backing out of a Fox News debate because Megyn Kelly might ask him a hard question in no way shows that he’s weak—shoot, if Trump is doing it it must be a sign of strength. But back in 2011, all of the candidates other than Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum backing out of a Trump-moderated debate was a big red flag:
“Romney doesn’t look courageous” Trump when Mitt Romney decided not to do the debate, according to the Washington Post.
“Some of them don’t have the courage to do,” Trump told Imus in the Morning. “I don’t want to say who.”
Trump said some called to say they were too nervous to do his debate, “We have guys who are afraid to go into a debate.” How would they stand up to China if afraid to debate? he asked.
How many ways can Trump find to say “Megyn Kelly is tougher than me”? She’s tougher than him in that he’s afraid to face her as a debate moderator. She’s tougher than him in that backing out of a debate moderated by him meant a candidate couldn’t face China but backing out of a debate moderated by her means no such thing.
And the same reason that Trump doesn’t think it shows he’s a giant wimp for backing out of this debate is the reason he’s so afraid of facing off against Kelly: She’s a she. Somehow, it’s not supposed to look like fear if it’s a woman whose questions you’re running away from. Too bad for Donald it’s totally obvious that’s what it is.
