Only 17% of nation supports the GOP's attempt to overturn President Obama's immigration policies

This gives us an idea of just how fringe the GOP's obsession with blocking Obama's immigration actions is—just 17% of Americans support their approach, in a new Public Religion Research Institute poll.
Meanwhile, 73 percent say congressional Republicans should prioritize passing comprehensive immigration reform. That includes: 85 percent of Democrats, 73 percent of independents, and 62 percent of Republicans (that's a solid majority folks!)
Additionally, Obama's executive action itself is growing more popular with the public. Now, 52 percent believe he should have taken executive action on his own (42 percent don't); that's slightly better than late last year, when only 50 percent supported Obama's action and 45 percent opposed it.
this really does show the republican discrimination policies are not what Americans want although they keep telling us that they are, why are they trying to push this when their is so much resistance they are the only ones who don't want immigration passed and that 17% is about what half of their base amounts to they are preaching to their own choir while the rest of the humane real Americans welcome their inclusion.

i really think aside from the inbred bigotry they only oppose because they feel they will not vote for them giving Dems a larger voter base for them to block and suppress given the fact it didn't work twice makes it more of a challenge for their scams and skulduggery to win
