they apologize to hooligans scaring Americans with defiant bluster born of "now i'm a man", but all the babies dead because they promote WMD's and refuse to be regulated bribing and arm twisting politicians to keep their status quo and sell more guns. can you imagine being in church and the guy next to you reaches out for the Communion glass and his gun falls to the floor on the hammer shooting the person next to him?
so fa4r they have not apologized for a single dead child.

You could not make this up if you tried. It only took a few days for the NRA to wash their hands of their previous statement asking Open Carry Texas to refrain from being gigantic public assholes. Not only are they apologizing for it, they're now saying it was all just a big misunderstanding:
In an interview on Tuesday with the organization's own news site, the head of the NRA's lobbying arm blamed a staff member's "personal opinion" for the content of an unsigned statement published Friday on the organization's website, and he apologized for "any confusion" the statement may have caused.
Ah, it was a rogue staff member who had a moment of clarity vis-a-vis whether a group of people showing up in Chili's with AR-15s, AK-47s and other rifles in hand was a good or a bad idea. Clearly it was a good idea! We're sorry! We regret ever implying that you are dysfunctional manchildren with sexual attachment issues as relates to your shiny guns, and/or poor spokesmen for our official and equally equally asinine position of demanding guns everywhere for all possible reasons no matter how many fine Americans might get murdered in the process!
the NRA meant that "tone it down plea" but like those who tamper with nature and science they've created a monster young and old redneck drunks in a bar strapped those haters 6 days of the week and go to church Sunday with their gun, that monsters now beginning to run amok and becoming a menace to society.
