“There was never any outreach from President Obama or anyone in his administration to me.”
McCain disputes the notion that he has rejected entreaties to cooperate with the White House because he is bitter from his defeat four years ago.He said he expressed eagerness to work with the president on immigration reform and the line-item veto, but has been left out in the cold.
the guy served on my ship in july '67 i did not know him or of him. that said no animosity to a fellow combatant. this whole thing comes off as a hissy fit rant filled with sour grapes. why would the Pres. seek out his counsel the choice's he made and the things he said were not conducive to good discourse, especially after his party claimed no desire to work with or help him any where but out of the door.
guess he believed his celebration by the right even though he started adopting their "lie above all else" philosophy, he was not who we was billed as being. why would the Pres. trust him in anything but following his party declaration of his being a one term Pres.
the right needs to look back at the archives of their lying ruthlessness, to see why they are not trustworthy of our support, hey right wing base they lied like hell to you, jobs, jobs jobs in 2010, did nothing to promote jobs especially those broached by the Pres. then have the audacity to ask the Pres. on international tv "where's the job's mr. President? how two faced is that? typical right wing tactic, commit the offense then blame the Pres., but for one widely known thing they might get away with it, and that is "it's on video tape, stupid".
