1% er heir rapes three year old daughter repeatedly, is sentenced to probation

Go to jail for life stealing VHS tapes.
But rape your own toddler and if you have money suddenly judges become concerned if you will "fare well" in prison.
There are men in Angola there for life because some racist sheriff has a free pass to perjure themselves in court. Or the DA wanted a raise.
But forbid the thought someone raised in utter comfort would have to sleep on an inch high matress rolled out on concrete or sheet metal.
To eat beans for breakfast, lunch, and dinner 360 days a year. Or have lights that never go off. And windows too high to see out of.
this is the way of the judicial system when you can afford it you get slapped on the knuckles when you can't you get 100 years, this is not law in any form like MS Alexander and potential 60 years for a warning shot in Fla. no less where lillers get celebrity status.
Jurden also ordered Richards to "participate in a sex offenders" treatment program after his lawyer provided her with an evaluation from a clinic in Massachusetts. Her order stipulated that he undergo inpatient treatment followed by outpatient treatment. The judge also ordered him to have no contact with children under 16 and prohibited him from possessing pornography.
Jurden's order also included other mitigating circumstances considered before sentencing, citing his "strong family support" and "significant treatment needs which must be met." The order noted, "Treatment needs exceed need for punishment," which the SENTAC manual lists as a factor for judges to consider.
Attorneys said a treatment sentence is more common for first-time drug offenders, drunk drivers and the mentally ill, but is not unheard of for sex offenders. "It's not completely out of left field that a judge would say that," Grubb said.
didn't notice what state this was he got an evaluation from Massachusetts but the way it's worded implies it's not his home state does money keep your name and state out of the media, looks like it.  wonder if they think if we get the majority control we'll come back for their just punishments?

I'm sick and tired, of being sick and tired, of seeing women's rights gutted and stomped on by misogynist GOP politicians and corporations. As an artist, I will no longer purchase my supplies from Hobby Lobby. Rarely do I use the words 'always' and 'never'. In this case, I can say I willnever step foot in another Hobby Lobby store again - even if they drop the lawsuit.

10 Weirdest Things the Christian Right Thinks Will Turn Your Kids Gay Did you know that the pro-gay agenda is being promoted by penguins? Fox News? You've been warned.

According to some, the Oscar-winning animated kids’ film Frozen is not the charming, comedic musical critics have universally praised, but rather Hollywood's latest sinister venture in gay propaganda. Moreover, Disney's latest blockbuster, based on a Hans Christian Anderson story, is not an isolated assault on the civilized world's core principle of heterosexuality, but one of the countless (10, if we’re counting) examples of seemingly child-friendly cultural and social entities that are actually gay conversion tools. Let's take a look at the dangers the Christian Right has alerted us to.
1. Frozen: Let it go gay. Let’s start with the most recent discovery. The gay agenda was spotted by Kathryn Skaggs, who blogs at A Well Behaved Mormon Woman. What makes Skaggs’ investigation so brave, besides the righteous headline, “'Frozen': Not Gonna Let It Go When Movie Advocates Gay Agenda,” is that Skaggs actually enjoyed the film. So, it wasn’t easy for her to write about how “the gay agenda to normalize homosexuality is woven into....Frozen not just as an underlying message—it is the movie.”In her post of over 4,000 words, Skaggs fails to actually prove her point, but she does make creative leaps. She writes that “Elsa has a great power that
she has been taught by her parents from the time she was a child, is not publicly acceptable and that she must fear its expression, at all cost, thus hide it from people, even her own sister who could be hurt by it—even killed. Shame is at the core of Elsa's feelings about her magical powers: same-sex attraction.”
if you are a fanatic and look not even hard you will find that which fulfills your madness but only to you.
2. Hot for Harry Potter. If only Frozen were the only kids' entertainment attempting to turn your kids gay. But, alas, Harry Potter was making gay cool long before Frozen was even a twinkle in Satan's eye. Now, you probably already know that the books, written by J.K. Rowlings, were pro-satanic and advocated all sorts of witchcraft. But you may have missed that’s it’s also propaGAYnda. Though the gays are notoriously sneaky in their messaging—one of the many things that make them so dangerous—the Harry Potter campaign was unique because author J.K. Rowling was atypically straightforward and honest when she officially announced"Dumbledore is gay."
all this kind of negative review give the picture a boost at the box office, i heard all kinds of ignorance as these about Noah and it topped the list at 44 million.  wonder are these things planned or just a luck happening?

Debunking the Top 10 Most Egregious Republican Lies

10) Obama Doubled the Deficit.
This was a favorite of the Mitt Romney campaign. Throughout 2012, Romney repeatedly said, "The president promised to cut the deficit in half.
He's doubled it!" No. No he hasn't. First of all, this line depends entirely on voters not understanding the difference between the deficit and the debt. See previous "simpleton" remarks. Indeed, the president has absolutely cut the deficit by way more than half in his first five years.
When he took office, the deficit for 2009 was projected to be $1.4 trillion. The deficit at the end of 2014 will be $514 billion, just three percent of GDP. That's a nearly $1 trillion reduction in five years. Not only that, but the administration boasts the lowest year-over-year increase in government spending since Truman,
and it'll be one of just three administrations in the last 50 years that will have ended with a lower deficit than when it began. The last Republican do leave the White House with the same record was Eisenhower.
9) Man-Made Climate Change Is a Hoax.
According to a clearly liberal agency called "NASA," a full  97 percent of scientists with specific expertise in climate science agree that climate change is real and humans are causing it. We shouldn't really have to say anything else. Of course if you're Lloyd Christmas from Dumb & Dumber, and "one-in-a-million" means "there's a chance," then the three percent of scientists who aren't sure about climate change obviously indicates that it's a hoax.
8) Cold Weather Disproves Climate Change
Second in our trifecta of climate change myths is an annual favorite. Every time it snows, you know the drill. Whenever there's a snow storm everyone from Matt Drudge to Rush Limbaugh suddenly achieves nipple erections hard enough to cut glass. And out comes the myth that climate change can't possibly be real because it's snowing somewhere.
What they fail to explain to their disciples is that New York City or Minnesota or Washington, D.C., isn't, you know, the globe. Climate scientists base their global warming observations on global temperature averages. So while it might be snowing outside Sean Hannity's house, average temperatures year-over-year are growing progressively higher.
7) Tax Cuts Do More to Stimulate The Economy Than Food Stamps and Unemployment Benefits.
  • Every dollar spent on unemployment benefits generates 1.61 in economic growth.
  • Every dollar spent on food stamps generates 1.74 in economic growth.
  • But every dollar spent on rolling tax rates back to Bush-era levels only creates .32 in economic growth — that's a 68-cent loss on investment.
just to wet your whistle pass this around it may help some who are fence walking realize the truth faster than unfortunately our Progressive party corrects them.
2) Exhaling Releases "Dangerous" CO2.
This is so dumb, it easily ranks as the most ridiculous climate change lie. Yes, more ridiculous than the blizzard thing. It's truly astonishing that anyone with half-a-brain actually believes it. Speaking of half-a-brain, here are some prime offenders:
"Carbon dioxide is basically this. (Exhales.) Look at how much pollution I just put out."
"We exhale CO2. If were a poison, it wouldn't be part of the way we stay alive."
"Carbon dioxide is a natural byproduct of nature."
"Now I know there is also a movement to say that carbon dioxide should be guided or should be managed by the Environmental Protection Agency. I disagree with that. I exhale carbon dioxide. I don't want those guys following me around with a meter to see if I'm breathing too hard."
they say these stupid things with such audacity of arrogant stupidity i'm beginning to wonder do they really believe this elephant dung?  it'
has been rebuked all of it and yet they continue spewing the misinfo, nah i take it back it's deliberate deception sprinkled with impunity.  put them all in a room overnight and pump in CO2 and see who comes out in the morning, not Limbaugh.  effects of CO2 on humans and republicans

Fox Fights Minimum Wage Increases That Would Disproportionately Help Women

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/03/30/fox-fights-minimum-wage-increases-that-would-di/198677

Article Photo
Fox & Friends Sunday falsely claimed that raising the minimum wage would harm female workers, contributing to what they called the "phony war on women" -- but women make up the majority of minimum wage earners, and would significantly benefit from a raise.
On the March 30 edition of Fox News' Fox & Friends Sunday, co-host Anna Kooiman and Independent Women's Forum Executive Director Sabrina Schaeffer pushed several debunked minimum wage myths,
falsely claiming that a majority of workers making minimum wage are younger, and suggesting that Democrats who wanted to pay women more were in fact hurting families and workers, contributing to the "phony war on women" (emphasis added):
SCHAEFFER: The reality is a majority of minimum wage earners are working part time. The majority are younger workers 16-24, about 50 percent are, so it's not quite this dire situation where you have the head of households who are not able to care for their families. And there are -- when the price of something goes up, people tend to buy less.
KOOIMAN: So you're saying it's continuing this phony war on women?
SCHAEFFER: Yeah, of course, and you know, this is definitely sort of a legislative aim looking towards looking at the midterm elections but really what would help people is robust job creation because that's what gives workers -- all workers, especially women who need often part time or flexible work arrangements,
more opportunities we want more jobs, we want different kinds of jobs, a variety of jobs, we want women who need part-time work to be able to find it, they're going to have better negotiating powers, higher wages when we have a stronger economy overall.
maybe this is the reason republican women blindly support the anti women agenda of their male counterparts they are too bat crap crazy, it's sinful that the ignorant arrogance that rules Fox is taken seriously by those the do nothing to help,
misleading and feeding misinformation is tantamount to the guy in movies that is the underground leader and tells his people they can't go up because it's too dangerous, lessening their life experience and leaving them under informed.
Kooiman concluded the segment by suggesting raising the minimum wage was not a "long-term solution" that would help "job creation."
In fact, women make up the majority of minimum wage earners and would benefit disproportionately from an increase in the minimum wage. ThinkProgress reported that according to research from the Center for American Progress, "two-thirds of minimum wage earners are women," (despite making up only 48.3 percent of the total workforce) making women "far more likely to benefit from a wage increase" than men:
they are stifling you and your family's lives they are supporting big business not you as far as wanting jobs the republicans promised jobs as a their platform oh and deny us health care so far they have not delivered on one you have ACA working, you have job growth every month even if God forbid it was only 2 jobs it still beats losing 750,000 jobs a month under republican control,. you don't want to say deja vu, all over again do you?
wonder what the women of Fox make that they can judge other woman and what is best or not for them, that is a sickness on the right wing they know more than they know and don't realize it, the worse kind of information comes from those who don't know their limit of said information.

Other People's Pathologies Black culture and the culture of poverty are not the same thing.

http://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2014/03/other-peoples-pathologies/359841/
Over the past week or so, Jonathan Chait and I have enjoyed an ongoing debateover the rhetoric the president employs when addressing African Americans. Here is my initial installment, Chait's initial rebuttal, my subsequent reply, and Chait's latest riposte.
Initially Chait argued that President Obama's habit of speaking about culture before black audiences was laudable because it would "urge positive habits and behavior" that are presumably found especially wanting in the black community.
Chait argued that this lack of sufficient "positive habits and behaviors" stemmed from cultural echoes of past harms, which now exist "independent" of white supremacy. Chait now concedes that this assertion is unsupportable and attempts to recast his original argument:
I attributed the enduring culture of poverty to the residue of slavery, terrorism, segregation, and continuing discrimination.
The argument is that structural conditions shape culture, and culture, in turn, can take on a life of its own independent of the forces that created it.
It would be bizarre to imagine that centuries of slavery, followed by systematic terrorism, segregation, discrimination, a legacy wealth gap, and so on did not leave a cultural residue that itself became an impediment to success.
The phrase "culture of poverty" doesn't actually appear in Chait's original argument. Nor should it—the history he cites was experienced by all variety of African Americans, poor or not. Moreover, the majority of poor people in America have neither the experience of segregation nor slavery in their background.
Chait is conflating two different things: black culture—which was shaped by, and requires, all the forces he named; and "a culture of poverty," which requires none of them.
IMO this is an FYI for those who support "they did it to themselves" and those who weren't sure what to think as stated in article the residue of what was imposed upon by those who sought to enslave and discriminate.
is a culture of poverty not by design, if equal opportunity was the culture as "all men created  equal", or we were all made in God's image were not expunged from the written law of the land, we would not be having this discourse and this would truly be the greatest country in the world and not just hyperbole.
That conflation undergirds his latest column. Chait paraphrases my argument that "there is no such thing as a culture of poverty." His evidence of this is quoting me attacking the "the notion that black culture is part of the problem." This evidence only works if you believe "black culture" and "a culture of poverty" are somehow interchangeable.
Making no effort to distinguish the two, Chait examines a piece I wrote in 2010 entitled "A Culture of Poverty" in which I sought to explain the difficulty of navigating culture in two different worlds—one in which "Thou shalt not be punked" was a commandment, and another where violence was best left to the authorities:
I think one can safely call that an element of a kind of street culture. It's also an element which—once one leaves the streets—is a great impediment. "I ain't no punk" may shield you from neighborhood violence.
But it can not shield you from algebra, when your teacher tries to correct you. It can not shield you from losing hours, when your supervisor corrects your work. And it would not have shielded me from unemployment, after I cold-cocked a guy over a blog post.
nobody pretty much wants to admit counter society actions or even thoughts except the 21 century republican they careless about who takes whatever they decide to say, but i digress point being if your ancestors practiced deplorable inhumane acts and you still harbor the inclination if not the acts you don't want to take any responsibility which in this case is no more than acknowledging the reality and your endeavors to not correct it, than you are responsible for what happens as a result of your inaction.
if your grand dad hurt someone and ended their mobility would reasonable people feel a responsibility if no more than morally, point is they feel something other than indifference and apathy.

Healthcare.gov Is Calling In Sick Today -

http://news.yahoo.com/healthcare-gov-calling-sick-today-122209743.html

Article Photo
Healthcare.gov at 7:47 am EST.
Healthcare.gov was down for maintenance Monday morning, and is now queueing guests — on the last day to attempt to enroll for health insurance, though users who say they tried to enroll (but were unable to) can apply for a special enrollment period.
As Politico reported this morning, the site was down from 3 a.m. EST until sometime after 7a.m. The site undergoes nightly repairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services officials said that a fix on a software bug extending in to high traffic hours.
Around 7:47 am on Monday the "system is not available" message switched over to the queueing system. Part of the reasoning behind the White House's recent (and controversial) special enrollment period extension was that it expected the site would get overloaded, as it is right now.
Healthcare.gov has a long history of being down on really important days. Most recently it was down on February 12, aka National Youth Enrollment Day. It was also down for most of October. (The White House'senrollment countdown is also a little glitchy — it's counting hours down in the days column.)
IMO republicans have done a good job convincing Americans they don't need or want ACA they want the same insurance co.'s that have been ripping them for decades with under adequate policies that did not cover half of what they were led to believe, and cries of high premiums by holders,
all of which is rectified by ACA. who do you believe the facts as reported by everybody but republicans, actually they have endorsed it to many in their ranks have signed up well before any deadlines they won't tell you but there are outlets that will.  investigate before you incriminate.
But this isn't a crisis for the White House so much as just a really, really embarrassing event. The federal exchange has been handling traffic well and has, for the most part, left its underperforming days behind. But users who attempt to sign up on Monday can apply for a special enrollment period. The Obama administration has compared it to getting in line to vote on election day
as all who are reading this know computer glitches and stalls and crashes happen in the biggest companies, remember Target and other cyber co.'s who were breached and patron info was compromised, it happens and republicans know it but instead of helping you get insured they are keeping you where they want you in the ins. co.'s back pocket, the one they sit on. recognize

Sen. John Barrasso: White House Is 'Cooking The Books' On Obamacare Enrollment Numbers

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/30/john-barrasso-obamacare_n_5059054.html?ncid=txtlnkusaolp00000592
Sen. John Barrasso is unimpressed with the Obamacare enrollment numbers.
WASHINGTON -- Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) on Sunday dismissed the White House's recent announcement that Obamacare enrollment had reached more than 6 million people, calling it a meaningless figure.
"I don't think it means anything. ... I think they're cooking the books on this," said Barrasso on "Fox News Sunday."
On Thursday, the Obama administration had announced that the number of people who have chosen a health care plan through a state or federal exchange had topped 6 million, putting enrollment ahead of revised projections with several days still left before the March 31 deadline.
Barrasso said that simply putting out enrollment numbers isn't enough.
"What kind of insurance will those people actually have?" the senator asked. "Will they be able to keep the doctor that they want? How much more is it going to cost them? We know that some of the best cancer hospitals in the country want very little to do with people that actually buy this insurance on the Obamacare exchanges."
how stupid is it to make unsubstantiated lies you know will eventually label you as a republican liar, the only thing he said was that was true but still IMO a misspeak by Pres., keeping your Dr.,
but wondering what kind of insurance they'll get is misleading since we already know the reason these policies are dropped is because the are substandard ins. co. rip offs,
ACA provides what you thought you were getting from republican backed ins. co., and those cost that rise are subsidized by the gov't and you end up paying less,  he knows that but still insist on attempting to mislead with fraudulent misinformation.
a statement sent to reporters after Barrasso's TV appearance, the Democratic National Committee shot back, "It means something to the 105 million Americans who no longer have a lifetime cap on essential benefits, and it means something to the parents of over 17.6 million children
who no longer have to worry about their kids being denied insurance because of pre-existing conditions. It meanssomething to approximately 3 million young people who have health insurance through their parents' plan and it means something to the over 32.5 million seniors who have already received one or more free preventive services."
The Obama administration's announcement of how many people had signed up for private health care plans under the Affordable Care Act exceeded the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office's estimate that 6 million people would sign up in the program's first year. That projection was down, however, from initial expectations of 7 million enrollees, due to problems with the federal website.
this also was common knowledge among politicians, but this republican chose to mislead us with lies and innuendo, if they do this in the face of media contradiction, what will they do if in office?  my first guess more of the same.

Four Big Questions Left Unanswered In Christie's Self-Exoneration

Gq9bnwh1fq1ycrtciwgg

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckraker/christie-scandal-open-questions
is this like the proverbial fox guarding the hen house?
"Our investigation found that Governor Christie did not know of the lane realignment beforehand and had no involvement in the decision to realign the lanes," the report stated. Later it added: "Our investigation found that [Hoboken Mayor Dawn] Zimmer’s allegations are, in material respects, demonstrably false."

but how did they arrive at that they never interviewed any of the principles, they must think very low under the bar of American intelligence, and the lawyers who tried to sell it i'm sure got his okay like others allegedly did before the email saying "it's time for some traffic problems in Ft Lee" than to add insult to injury he runs around to any mike he can find and declares his legal exoneration because his lawyers said he was, that is what you call all self inclusive.
to prove all is right in Christieland he immediately goes back to his real persona big bully billy badass.

not all religions are aganist contraception laws in ACA

As the Supreme Court prepares to hear two religious challenges to Obamacare’s birth control provision, it may appear that battle lines are drawn in the sand between faith communities and secular interests. But that’s actually somewhat of a false dichotomy. Not all religious groups are opposed to contraceptive coverage — and some are actually speaking up in favor of it, urging the nation’s highest court to rule in favor of the health law.
A group of 45 religious leaders have signed onto a letter in support of birth control coverage, pointing out that the two for-profit companies challenging Obamacare don’t speak for all people of faith. Although Hobby Lobby and Conestoga Wood are arguing that extending birth control coverage to workers is a violation of their religious liberty, the letter’s signatories point out that isn’t how that concept has traditionally been defined.

“Religious freedom means that each individual has the right to exercise their own beliefs and the right not to have others’ beliefs forced upon them,” the faith leaders write. “No single religious voice can speak for all faith traditions on contraception, nor should government take sides on religious differences. We call on our government to respect the beliefs and values of everyone’s faith by safeguarding equal access to contraception for those whose conscience leads them to use it.”
does this throw a wrench in the right wing battle of my way or no way?  i like their interpretation of freedom of religion wondering have the evangelical charlatans had their congregations drink the tea yet, because real religion is in opposition to their "teachings" of selfish bigotry and no mind but theirs?
A group of Catholic nuns is joining the cause, too. Although the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has been one of the loudest opponents of Obamacare’s contraceptive provision, and has repeatedly pressured the White House to widen the health law’s existing religious liberty exemption, not every nun agrees. The National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN), which has a long history of activism around issues of reproductive justice, is defending birth control coverage in a new online petition.
“This has gotten out of hand,” Sister Donna Quinn, who heads NCAN, told Religion Dispatches. “It isn’t ‘faith and freedom’ when reproductive autonomy isn’t extended by the Catholic Church to women. Now we have other Christian religions seeing what the bishops are doing and saying we will do likewise.”
this must really stick a burr under the saddle of Catholic teaching before Pope Frankie now they have the second most powerful voice in the religion supporting them oh and did i mention they were Nuns, women?
Bishops be gone.

Anti-Obamacare Governor Now Encouraging Residents To Enroll Under Health Law

http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/03/24/3418004/scott-walker-obamacare-signups/
Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI)
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), an ardent Affordable Care Act critic, is now encouraging residents to transition into new health plans under the very reform law that he once refused to help implement.
Walker told the Washington Examiner’s Philip A. Klein that he has instructed state agencies to work with individuals who are transitioning into plans offered on Wisconsin’s Obamacare marketplace. That includes both the previously uninsured and poor residents just above the poverty level who are being siphoned out of the state’s Medicaid program, BadgerCare, and into private ACA plans under Walker’s conservative alternative to Obamacare’s optional Medicaid expansion.
Just two years ago, Walker was singing a very different tune. He had refused to create a statewide ACA marketplace — thereby also forgoing significant federal funding for Obamacare outreach efforts — and said he wouldn’t lift a finger to help implement the law until the Supreme Court decided the law’s fate. In fact, Wisconsin’s spending on ACA outreach is the lowest in the nation at just 46 cents per capita.

Walker eventually went even further than that. He said that he wouldn’t do anything about the health law at all until after the 2012 November elections, in the hopes that Mitt Romney would win and repeal the law, making implementation efforts moot.
i am surprised but cautiously scrutinizing this guy is a sel admitted Koch whore and has no interest in the people now he does, did Kochs kick him to the curb or is their some dirty work a foot i'm leaning toward the latter.  can't serve the people if you are part of a unAmerican plot to buy the gov't. you owe your soul to the company that brought you, a fact he has already exhibited in the infamous fake call between him and David Koch.

12 Times Republicans Claimed Nobody Would Sign Up For Obamacare

President Obama’s announcement on Thursday that six million people signed-up for coverage through the Affordable Care Act — meeting and exceeding the administration’s deadline days before the March 31st enrollment period — undermines critics who seized on the law’s troubled early rollout to predict that measure could never attract enough Americans to succeed. Below are some of the worst predictions after the administration published the first enrollment figures in November of 2013:

1. House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)

“Above all, this report is a symbol of the failure of the President’s health care law… It is a rolling calamity that must be scrapped. [CNN]

2. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA)

“Pretty stunning…Just another day in a series of mess-ups in Obamacare.”

7. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)

“The 27,000 enrollments through federally facilitated exchange pale in comparison to the millions of Americans who have lost their health insurance under ObamaCare… It is time for the president to finally acknowledge ObamaCare isn’t working and to delay the law, in fairness to families and individuals.”

8. Sen. Pat Roberts (R-KS)

The numbers released today are indicative of failure. Not just the failure of a website, but a failure of the underlying law, a failure to keep promises to the American people, and, above all, a failure of leadership.”

if things are so bad why do they need to lie about them multiple times 51 ObamaCares repeal votes. 12 times nobody signing up when reports on the news and updates by Pres. and other red states rebut the misleading,

nobody probably kept count of how many other things they saying multiple times that weren't so much true as flat out lies, we have seen this for 5 years if at voting time Nov. 4th you still hold those lies as truth you have a real problem with reality.
5 years and all the misinfo and misleading has netted them nothing but a bigger reputation of deception monger's.
ISSA so far 40 million taxpayer bucks on his witch hunts and spin thrift republicans have not opened their mouths in protest of gratuitous spending by one of theirs. and they talk about Pres. vacation expenses.
