Oh come on—I realize Sarah Palin has never been known for her sharp analysis of any damn thing at all, but this is too much. Her entire existence has to be a put-on, right? An extended prank orchestrated by John McCain, the entire political pundit corps willing accomplices, and whenever they get behind closed doors they nearly pass out from laughing so hard at what they've managed to pull off?
Sarah Palin urged President Barack Obama to “go big or go home” against the threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, but said it’s hard to put much faith in his new promises. “War is hell. So go big or go home, Mr. President,” Palin wrote on Facebook on Wednesday night. “Big means bold, confident, wise assurance from a trustworthy Commander-in-Chief that it shall be worth it. Charge in, strike hard, get out. Win.”

I realize now that our mistake was trying to overthink how many people we should kill and how many of our own people we should send to be killed, or contemplating the longer-term regional ramifications, or international law, or the Holy Budget. I also finally, I think, understand why Sen. John McCain was so enamored with Palin's "foreign policy" expertise. It's just like his own, but wrapped in a thick blanket of excruciating cliché.

let's get real whatever those people in Alaska saw to make them vote her in as gov. they were obviously dead wrong. I know she's got this folksy backwoods persona she's white she speaks in terms relative to violence so if you're a righty what more do you need. and please stop giving McCain credit for picking her he didn't she was stealing his thunder as it was the party made that decision no one vetted her for the same reasons above, she's white, folksy and talks tough and will beat hell out of a fish if she catches one. oh and eye candy for the lecherous right wing males.
