FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — A suburban St. Louis police chief on Friday identified the officer whose fatal shooting of an unarmed black teenager ignited days of heated protests, and released documents alleging the teen was killed after a robbery in which he was suspected of stealing a $48.99 box of cigars.
Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson released several police reports and documents during a news conference where he also identified the officer involved as Darren Wilson, who has been on administrative leave since he shot 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9.
if this kid robbed a store why did it take 6 days to report it why didn't the store owner make this id when it happened they have to have known it would possibly quell some of the violence, with all the negative press the police received a reason why they where pursuing him as a suspect would have gone a long way.
they had 6 days to manufacture talking points and evidence agreed the photo looks damning bur circumstance is not known why he if it is him was in conflict with store owner, not exonerating him but it's pretty suspicious. why all 5the artillery and war dress if there was a valid reason guess it was because the cop walked him down shooting and killing him 35 feet from his car, murder. remember first day they were looking for drug test so not a far reach to create a scenario favorable to police but again he walked him down and killed him hands up in surrender. murder
after thought, wasn't Mr. Brown supposed to have been confronted by the cop for walking down the middle of the street and was told to get on sidewalk, and that morphed into "strong arm robbery suspect????
