This past year was about a lot more than Ted Cruz and the surreal shutdown politics of the Republican right. Across America, grassroots groups, bold unions, inspired activists, crusading editors and courageous elected officials did great things. They are the real heroes of 2013, and The Nation’s Progressive Honor Roll celebrates them for their accomplishments this year and their determination to do even more in 2014.
i think it's a great idea to honor those who serve their country outside the military as much as i think their should be a wall of shame for all those republicans who have done nothing but obstruct and collect a fat check for their leisure. 5 years one midterm and they promise jobs get elected and............
then we vote them out by over a million votes to the house their move gerrymander the districts so they lose but don't have to leave. their were some going around saying that Americans voted them back in as a ok for the dastardly deeds they were doing denying everything creating the jobs problem then refusing to pass Pres.'s bill for jobs.
they have done such a disservice to this country it's amazing how Pres. with the help of our Lord was able to get us to where we are now, budget deficit cut in half never hear that on Fox again a disservice to their viewers they are half cocked with a half of misinformation they will vote blind that is exactly what republicans want.
