his book Killing Jesus and talk about the political drama over Obamacare and a possible government shutdown. O’Reilly lamented how little the American people care about these issues, said that the media would end up spinning a shutdown inPresident Obama‘s favor, and predicted that if Obamacare is implemented and it turns into a huge disaster, “the Democratic party will be banished for ten to fifteen years.”O’Reilly told Beck he believes Ted Cruz‘s opposition to Obamacare is sincere, but at the same time he said compromise is essential for anything to get done and neither side can have the “my way or the highway” attitude.
from one extreme to the other, suggesting that media would spin it in Pres.'s favor, they are all to familiar with that ploy but to project their MO on others is disingenuous at it's least.
supporting the Cruz sincerity and bringing in the Progressives as complicit to the republican my way or else, when did that get said, Pres. said he would not negotiate the republicans not doing their jobs
but in admission of his people taking that stance he realizes it's wrong so to lessen the impact he includes the Progressives as that right wing proverbial "the other side dose it too", like that qualifies their doing it or ok's it.
O'Reilly said that about half of Americans simply have "no blanking clue what's going on." Beck asked him what he thinks is going to happen if Obamacare is implemented and turns into a massive disaster.O'Reilly responded, "Then the Democratic party will be banished for ten to fifteen years," meaning the political fallout will be so great they'll end up in the minority in both the House and Senate, and they won't control the presidency in a long while.
i agree with him wholeheartedly, it's the alf he claims to look out for "the folks", yes they are clueless because they are exclusively listening to him and Beck and the rest of the crew, notorious for misleading and under informing.
G W Bush, "you can fool some of the people all of the time and those are the ones you want to concentrate on" that coupled with the birth of the right wing Fox propaganda machine they can't help but be "influenced". as to 10 or 15 vyears od obscurity they know all about that they've been there and done that, after doing what they are trying todo again now.
