Attorney General Eric Holder announced today that the Justice Department will be filing suit against the State of North Carolina for its highly restrictive new voting regulations.
Article PhotoThese regulations have been harshly criticized by many in North Carolina. “It is an outright attempt to manipulate voting and the result of voting through suppressing the African-American and the votes of others that expand the electorate in ways not often favorable to the support of a narrow and extreme political agenda,” said North Carolina NAACP President Rev. William Barber after the law was signed.
they are striving to attain for them the ultimate voting scenario, that which would only allow their base the right to vote, the way they are going if not checked will lead to just that replacing our system of democracy with one we call anarchy
Holder is responding a little late i hope there is enough time to get this repealed and give those disenfranchised there right to vote for who they want not what the can by gerrymandering give you, btw that is not a win they can just stop that lie.
Later that month, former Secretary of State Colin Powell told an audience that included North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory that “there is no voter fraud. How can it be widespread and undetected.” Powell was responding to an editorial in which the governor had claimed that fraud was widespread, but undetected.
they are contradicting their own claiming the same sentence, if it was true and widespread how would they know if by their own claim it's undetectable, they said that so they would not have to show proof but by virtue of saying it they are nullifying their lie,
how much more does the SCOTUS need to recognize they do need to be monitored for suppression, and admit they made a mistake by lifting the measure, like that's gonna happen.
