When Rachel Jeantel explained the difference between “nigga” and “@!$%#” on CNN last night, she wasn’t just talking to Piers Morgan, she was also speaking directly to Rush Limbaugh. That much was clear from Limbaugh’s radio show this morning, during which he said he can start saying “nigga with an ‘a’” because according to Jeantel, “it’s not racist.”
heads up for racist Rush,

nig·ga

 [nig-uh]  Show IPA

Nigga  is used mainly among African Americans, but also among other minorities and ethnicities, in a neutral or familiar way and as a friendly term of address. It is also common in rap music. However, nigga  is
taken to be extremely offensive when used by outsiders. Many people consider this word to be equally as offensive as nigger.  The words nigger  and nigga  are pronounced alike in certain dialects, and so it has been claimed that they are one and the same word.

Limbaugh played the clip from “the ever-penetrating inquisitor” Piers Morgan’s interview with Trayvon Martin‘s friend and witness for the prosecution in the George Zimmerman trial and mocked CNN’s “quest to become the most-respected news organization in the country, perhaps even the world.”
this is a thing that has been around since media anytime there would bean incident involving Blacks or their neighborhood they would find the one who willingly represents the stereotype that has been the White perception of our race forever.  remember all the controversy behind the Cosby show?  Whites and Blacks not in that economic column did not believe it, some Blacks viewed it as phony, like jim crow test asking about a cup a saucer as a right to vote when majority of those of color had no reference to cups and saucers.
they used this young lady for their example of incompetence and not believable witness, then CNN comes along and puts her out there as a side show, somebody needs to step forward and help her with a media that only seeks to exploit and further the White interpretation of Blacks, no matter the Pres. and all his academia they will not walk away with just her but all of them. i should qualify that some of those will others are beyond that kind of prejudicial thinking, thank God for that.
yesterday on the Tom Joyner Morning Show, they offered her assistance in schooling and help getting to where she can seek jobs that she might like, that is great, but she still needs someone to guide her through the maze of 15 mins, so as not to further exploit and eventually destroy her self esteem.
