Remember when Trump's wife did that Vanity Fair interview—talked about Hitler and Trump?

The original former Mrs. Trump, Ivana, did a Vanity Fair interview back in 1990. Like most Vanity Fair pieces it was a big exposé on her time with the Donald. The megalomania, the wealth, the insanity of living in that rarified old not-so-old-money world drips off the page. Here's some fun stuff about Hitler:
Donald Trump appears to take aspects of his German background seriously. John Walter works for the Trump Organization, and when he visits Donald in his office, Ivana told a friend, he clicks his heels and says, “Heil Hitler,” possibly as a family joke.
Last April, perhaps in a surge of Czech nationalism, Ivana Trump told her lawyer Michael Kennedy that from time to time her husband reads a book of Hitler’s collected speeches, My New Order, which he keeps in a cabinet by his bed. Kennedy now guards a copy of My New Order in a closet at his office, as if it were a grenade. Hitler’s speeches, from his earliest days up through the Phony War of 1939, reveal his extraordinary ability as a master propagandist.
When asked by the writer, Trump is evasive and rightly so—he worked with a lot of Jewish people in New York City at the time. But, it's pretty obvious he's probably reading Hitler's speeches.
“Actually, it was my friend Marty Davis from Paramount who gave me a copy of Mein Kampf, and he’s a Jew.” (“I did give him a book about Hitler,” Marty Davis said. “But it was My New Order, Hitler’s speeches, not Mein Kampf. I thought he would find it interesting. I am his friend, but I’m not Jewish.”)
Later, Trump returned to this subject. “If I had these speeches, and I am not saying that I do, I would never read them.”
To be fair to Donald Trump (you won't hear that phrase too often), Ivana was not, specifically at this moment in time, the biggest Donald Trump fan. For those of you too young to remember, the divorce of Donald and Ivana Trump brought a new word into the lexicon of most Americans that had not been used particularly frequently—"prenup"—the concept of the prenuptial agreement.
The two went to court in 1991 because of the prenup and all you need to know is that Ivana won—$20 mil, the family home and $350k in alimony. You can only imagine how austere the prenup must have been. This was accompanied with the Donald bringing his soon-to-be-wife-and-then-ex-wife-number-two Marla Maples. Ivana isn't an impartial party here.
However, knowing what we know about Donald Trump, it seems pretty clear that he's a megalomaniac and at the very least a complete narcissist. The fact of the matter is anyone with high political office aspirations has probably read about Hitler's speechifying, if not a few Hitler speeches.
Clearly, Hitler was good enough at it that people say he was great at it—I've always wondered if it was more of a right place at the right time kind of thing. Trump's no different. He wants everybody to know how great he thinks he is. Trump's also fairly racist, though I doubt he's any more racist than the people he is running against for the Republican nomination.
that party is the only ones that ever bring up anything Hitler or Nazi and always as a parallel to Pres. or this admin. his tactics and rhetoric do make you go hmmmm requesting papers from Pres. to obsession i'm sure some of you saw him at an airport when he received the report from his  investigators that obviously from his reaction was like Geraldo and Al Capone's vault empty.

why do these guys think they can toss a lie out without confirming the subject will be complicit in the deception Trump and bilo two peas in a pod
