CNN's live microphone caught an embarrassing comment from someone in the audience of Pope Francis' speech to Congress. The woman has not been identified, but as Pope Francis, the pope of popes, entered the chamber of the U.S. Congress, she can be heard saying wanted to "take my shoe off and throw it."
article doesn't say if it was before or after Kerry handshake but it does show the mindset of at least one and undoubtedly more who share opposite views as Pope Frankie and makes the choice to shake only Kerry's hand even more understandable IMO a sign of disapproval of those on the right wing.
