U.S. Army Soldiers during the Ranger Course on Fort Benning, GA., April 21, 2015. Soldiers attend Ranger school to learn additional leadership and small unit technical and tactical skills in a physically and mentally demanding, combat simulated environmen

Apparently, this old Army dog can't get his head around the fact that two little ladies were strong enough to finish Army Ranger school. Rep. Steve Russell (R-OK) is demanding the Secretary of the Army turn over all the training records of the two women who completed Ranger school last month:
Among the documents he requested were patrol grade sheets, spot reports, phase evaluation reports and sick call reports, all "with Ranger Instructors’ comments for each and every phase to include every recycled phase and class."
Russell also requested peer evaluations and "a complete breakdown of each female candidate’s recycle history and dates for each phase."
Russell is a retired Army lieutenant colonel who says he's acting on tips sent to his office. The brass at Fort Benning have repeatedly insisted the women received zero special treatment:
Col. David G. Fivecoat, commander of the Airborne and Ranger Training Brigade based at Fort Benning, has been the officer charged with overseeing the first class to include women. He says he's insisted throughout the process that the difficult standards not be lowered in any way to make it easier for women to pass the course.
"All the women did the exact same thing as their male counterparts," Fivecoat said during the Florida phase.
Even Rangers who trained with them have come forward to praise the women:
Second Lt. Zachary Hagner, Griest’s Ranger buddy, said on one mission in the mountains he needed a break from carrying the M249 Squad Automatic Weapon.
"I went to everybody in the line, and there was no word," Hagner said. "As soon as I went to Ranger Griest, she wanted it and took it away from me. Nine guys were too broken and too tired."
Another day, another senseless, insulting Republican investigation that will be
costly to taxpayers.
this guy needs to produce the person and message allegedly "sent to his office" before any info is turned over and tax dollars spent as well as his entire military and psych record released put up or shut up.  what is it mommy issues???????
