A few days ago, several black activists received this email, with an apology, from a senior staffer with Bernie's campaign. You should read it. It's a great email. Here's the intro with the apology

My name is Marcus Ferrell, I am a senior staffer for Senator Bernie Sanders presidential bid in 2016.
I am reaching out to you on behalf of our campaign because you are the folks doing the work for Black Lives Matter. I apologize it took our campaign so long to officially reach out. We are hoping to establish a REAL space for REAL dialog between the folks on this email and our campaign. If you guys know of anyone that should be on this email chain and is not, please feel free to forward them this message and my contact information.
is this guy trying to campaign on an questionable apology by soliciting names for their mailer list??????? that is adding insult to injury, some people need to understand from their actions and words they don't know Black life Dem or especially republicans stereotypes are in their heads too they speak and react from those mythical assumptions as if they are the ultimate authorities on "BLACK".
only succeeding in making themselves more White and more disingenuous. you can't present yourself as reaching out and caring and wanting to fix when you fail at all 3. lyrics from EN VOGUE "FREE YOUR MIND" read it and hear it, you can't fix what you think is not broken nor can you reach out bto something you have yet to identify, caring is not snatching food stamps from babies, denying healthcare, lying repeatedly are symptoms of indifference to those same Black lives that don't seem to matter to them, more than ISRAELI'S.
