Well the roosters are coming home to roost. For those of you who were waiting for an event to turn on this man physically, it has. From the NJ Ledger.
Christie booed mercilessly -- twice -- at the Haskell
OCEANPORT — It was one long happy celebration at Monmouth Park for the great American Pharoah's latest victory. At least, that is, until Gov. Chris Christie stepped into the Winner's Circle to present the trophy.
And then, the record crowd of 60,983 booed.
Schadenfreude? Nah..... We folks on this site are compassionate and would never Revel (no pun) in someone like Chris Christies misfortune. Ya Right,
I think of the 85% of the people that are still not even close to together after Sandy: I Think of a closed bridge: I think of lies on earned pensions and so much more : I think of corruption: I think of insults to so many common people like a nurse coming back from fighting Ebola: I think of Exxon deals : And Port Authority corruption ; I think of him running for president and holding New Jersey's hostage : I think of Obstruction of Justice : I Think of too, too many bad things, in some cases, evil things.
Booed? It is mind boggling his advisors let him step anywhere near this many New Jerseyans. Let alone near the shore where families are still homeless in too many communities.
But then most of his staff are under indictment or threat of indictment down the line. So who knows who is left to save this guy. The longer the media and "the law" let's this guy get away with this charade the more the backlash will be. Today they saw and heard it. We will see.
admitting i am one of those waiting for the acme anvil to drop on his parade i never bought that he didn't know i don't however understand the hold on his staff that permits him to slam them and they continue to take one for his cause. i like the fact that all the criminally inclined on the right are being systematically exposed but the problem is that is the criteria republican voters demand of their politicians or are they just going along because they share hate credentials?????
