Gay Men's Chorus of Washington DC sings National Anthem at Supreme Court steps to celebrate Gay Marriage decision

Washington DC's Gay Men's Chorus came to the Supreme Court steps to celebrate today's historic decision striking down gay marriage bans across the United States of America. Appropriately, they sang "The Star-Spangled Banner."
Like the nature of the song—which was inspired not by our American Revolution but by a smaller victory during the War of 1812—this victory and its context can and will take on a much more important symbolic meaning as time moves on.
Today's decision is no different. Today a song, frequently stood through while waiting for hot dogs and beer to arrive at your seats, can bring tears of pride to your eyes.
"O'er the land of the free, and the home of the brave."
let's face facts, if not for the title and the endless bigotry of those who oppose and no reference to Gay and you surfing and find this video what would your thoughts be in reference to those singing that song???

it will be interesting to see it those who hold the southern tradition in such high esteem upon knowing these guys are Gay will they now protest and assume the same posture about a song and it's representation of the war that represented a united front in this country against a common enemy or will it just be a "that was then this is now" moment???
