Jeb Bush plunked himself down firmly on the side of discrimination in a Christian Broadcasting Network interview Saturday. Does he think business owners should be able to refuse to provide services for same-sex weddings? "Yes, absolutely, if it’s based on a religious belief."
“A big country, a tolerant country, ought to be able to figure out the difference between discriminating someone because of their sexual orientation and not forcing someone to participate in a wedding that they find goes against their moral beliefs,” he said. “This should not be that complicated. Gosh, it is right now.”
Once upon a time, it went against what a good many business owners might have called their moral beliefs to serve black people at the same lunch counters as white people. To allow black people or interracial couples or LGBT couples to get hotel rooms. It's the same basic claim—that a business owner should be able to pick and choose who's good enough to pay for the services of the business—with the frontiers shifting over time. What's consistent is that it's always about discrimination, and about the attempt to frame that discrimination as somehow righteous. These days, we're not just to see discrimination as righteous but opposition to it as itself discriminatory.
But we're not talking about the government telling people how they have to conduct themselves in their private lives. We're talking about how businesses operate. And it's not exactly unprecedented for the government to tell businesses that they can't discriminate against a given group of people.
still using religion as their bases for discrimination their bigoted views are not shared by the Biblical teachings but they claim it and continue to poop in the face of what Christianity really means.  i've said they do hang on to their guns and Bibles but that IMO is they hold on never reading depending on some right wing evangelical to tell them what it says, turning your soul over to those who are not exactly speaking of Jesus's love for us all but their own hate for us all, they cherry pic verses that can be twisted into what sounds like what they claim to be Christian, leaving out verses like these,  where it is written that those they oppose are the favored ones they the haters are singled out as not of Christian values.

you can neither be God loving or God Fearing when you have no respect for the written word or those that are equal in the eyes of God, so whats left are Charlatans in religious wrappings, that want to rule this country by their own laws of exclusion, racism, bigotry and denial, not what Jesus had in mind.

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: “Blessed are you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. “Blessed are you who are hungry now, for you shall be satisfied. “Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.
“Blessed are you when people hate you and when they exclude you and revile you and spurn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man! Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven; for so their fathers did to the prophets. “But woe to you who are rich, for you have received your consolation.
