Black suspect dies after Baltimore cops break his spine in ‘brutal’ police beating
Freddie Gray had to undergo a double surgery on three broken vertebrae and an injured voice box on Tuesday, after he was released by the police. He died today after days of remaining in a coma.
The 27-year old was arrested last week for an undisclosed violation. The police said that he was restrained on the ground by an officer during the arrest, but appeared to be fine when he was taken to the district station. However, a cell phone video shows that the arresting officers used force that some may seen as “brutal.”
it's hard to see what they are doing in the initial arrest but the cries of pain are unmistakable. they also claim he was okay talking when thrown into van but it doesn't appear so in bystander video. also the timeline and the police actions are highly suspect. they say there is a camera in back of the van but it doesn't record just view of what is happening back there.
i also read about another occupant in back of van with Freddie. they also say no confrontation during arrest but today they say he had a knife and multiple charges, cop'sc did not know that at the time of confrontation. i heard about another person in rear of van with Freddie can't find corroboration could it be because that may have been a plan B to blaim someone else and stopping to shackel Freddie was a ploy maybe to suggest he was physically able and had to e restrainded and what of the phantom person back there wit him????
