i saw the token this morning and i'm still of the same mind yeah he's Black in color only and that issue is not so much of the reason he was elected he was elected in a red state by a red electorate because he was espousing the republican buzz words and idiotologies and Obama bashing and embellished the truth he was perfect the republicans love a BICO guy who they think fools the rest of us into thinking they are embracing us but it does not work overwhelmingly we see him and the other tokens defending that which subjugated their ancestors as early as grand parents and hate them as nothing more than a right wing house "N".
he has no real standing other than those on the right wing that like a compromising non threatening Black person who speaks their language of hate and bigotry. being the first Black guy elected in SC as a senator loses all celebration because he was elected and supports that which does not support him or those like him. at days end he's still in their heads and mouths a "N".
it's hard to see racial change when the other side and him does everything they can to stymie any progress the ones we have made were not because the republicans wanted to they fought tooth and nail to prevent look at their vanal agenda the last 6 years of nothing but Obama bashing lies. yeah he's right speaking for republicans race relations haven't changed because they keep stoking the fire.
