Democrats vote down abortion restrictions, so GOP won't confirm first black woman attorney general

It's happened: Senate Democrats, as they promised, have voted down a bill to thwart human trafficking because Republicans snuck in a provision that would have piled on needless abortion restrictions. It was a dirty move by the GOP, and one that the legislation's chief Republican sponsor in the House, Minnesota Rep. Erik Paulsen, spoke out against.
So now, a worthy law that would have combatted the abhorrent crime of sex trafficking is apparently dead—and so, perhaps, is the nomination of Loretta Lynch to serve as our next attorney general.
Say what?
Well, we're just taking Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell at his word. In a fit of pique, McConnell declared on Sunday that he wouldn't move ahead with Lynch's nomination unless Democrats caved on the anti-trafficking legislation:
"This will have an impact on the timing of considering a new attorney general. I had hoped to turn to her next week, but if we can't finish the trafficking bill, she will be put off again."We have to finish the human trafficking bill. The Loretta Lynch nomination comes next."
Lynch's confirmation has already been held up longer than any other nomination for attorney general in three decades. She'd also make history as the first black woman to serve in the post. But McConnell, tired of having Harry Reid show him who's boss, has decided to screw over Lynch because he can't get his way on the Senate floor on a completely unrelated matter.
Childish doesn't begin to describe it, but of course it fits a long pattern of Republicans treating women and minorities with deep disrespect.
is this what the majority of Americans want people who gangster hostage take in order to do restrictive and harmful things in this case to women but actually those women's entire family suffers in these dictates by republicans stepping on women's  needs and ultimately their right to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness", hard to attain with a elephant hoof on your neck and elephant dung all over you.  btw a lot of those women are in their base cheering them on.

another Black intelligent Progressive in the big chair of the DOJ and a woman to boot and a chance to stick it to Pres,. how can the kindergarten pass this up???  mean and nasty are traits you just can't hide they show on your face in your eyes the inflections in your voice and most convincing in your actions what you do points to you and who you are.
