MSNBC Source: 'The Goal Is To Move Away From Left-wing TV'

Since facts do indeed have a liberal bias, the programming solution was never to prop up a bunch of liberal figureheads. I would have settled for actual news coverage that didn't embrace "the view from nowhere," as media critic Jay Rosen so famously put it. Both sides don't do it, and false equivalence is not journalism. Take a side! Just allow it to be dictated by actual facts, not some hack from a right-wing think tank. Disclose potential conflicts, don't let your news anchors collect fat checks for speaking to groups they're supposed to cover.
It's really not as complicated as you think -- unless, of course, the real goal is to push the ownership's corporate agenda:

As its afternoon shows hosted by Ronan Farrow and Joy Reid are canceled due to poor ratings, MSNBC is reportedly planning to replace Chris Hayes with Rachel Maddow.
i have been talking about how they MSNBC has been leaning more right with most of their programming host that use be more really fair and balanced have been becoming what i called Fox and friends illegitimate cousins since comcast took over right wing big business promotes right wing domination using any means necessary.  they are dumping all the good reporters for scripted talking points guess they think they can boost ratings by appealing to the hateful audience that keeps Fox on top but losing many of their faithfuls like myself.  i cannot say good luck because this implies they will no longer be what drew me and others to them.

confused switching out Chris Hayes who is excellent with Rachel who is just as excellent and liberal does that mean they are requiring her to corrupt herself and now be a different person just reading scripts.
