One can only imagine Hooks Independent School District board member Chris Harris won't be working for the district much longer after he posted the image above. The image has rightfully garnered a lot of attention, not the kind Mr. Harris was likely hoping for when he posted it. He's since apologized, but it may be too late:
Harris posted messages saying in part that he realizes what he posted was inappropriate and offended people. He went on to say he's deeply sorry and not a racist.
According to Superintendent Thompson, Harris' future with the school district will be up to the school board members.
"They govern me. That is who I answer to," said Thompson. "They govern each other. It is in their hands."
i don't think a lot of those types would do and say crazy crap if the though everyone agreed at that point they are preaching to the choir and there is no shock value and they hypocrisy of saying you are not what your speech and actions represent is either more about his ignorance that his thought that we'd buy it. as far as the school board governing him sounds like a third finger flip to those who oppose his actions and are not school board members even more reprehensible but it's Texas no excuse but a better understanding of the source.
