U.S. Representative Mike Pence (R-IN) looks at his notes before a news conference about the goal of permanently extending Bush-era tax rates at the U.S. Capitol in Washington December 2, 2010. Pence told reporters on Thursday his view on stripping the Fed

I'm not sure lower-income Americans are going to be able to survive all the "ennobling" things Republicans are doing for them. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker already explained how preventing Americans from obtaining live-saving health insurance will help them "live the American Dream"; now fellow Republican governor and do-gooder Mike Pence wants to further "ennoble" state residents by cutting off their food stamps.
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration announced last month that beginning in 2015, it would no longer request a waiver to the federal work requirement for certain people who use the SNAP program. Up to 65,000 single Hoosiers could lose food stamp benefits unless they are working 20 hours a week or attending job training.
Speaking to Fox News on Tuesday, Pence argued that 50,000 people had joined the Indiana workforce since 2008 so it was time to return to a "core principle" of welfare reform. [...]
"I'm someone that believes there's nothing more ennobling to a person than a job," Pence insisted. "And to make sure that able-bodied adults without dependents at home know that here in the state of Indiana, we want to partner with them in their success."
understand when some think they are smarter then the rest they do and say things like we hear and see from republicans 16 days out and the insanity is escalating.  are you now seeing the mistake the horrible mistake the American fickled electorate has made they too will come under the same thumb as the rest of us.

i really find it odd that after 6 years of this same kind of activity and it getting more prolific the closer Nov. got and still 2/3 thought it made a statement to stay home and the other majority of that third decided republicans were the best choice???  i know the media failed on many levels but there was a lot out there from them and other venues exposing the treachery and deceptiveness of the republican party and yet here we are.

they sit on the jobs act they talk about keystone temp jobs no more than 35 or 50 permanent as opposed to million plus, they refuse to extend unemployment from their recession, they want to take food stamps, medicaid and medicare even when the gov't will pay for it no skin off their noses but they refuse, there is a war on women and poor and still we are here if gov't is broke than we broke it.
