Mitch McConnell is so dang likable he needed to copy and paste this dog over and over to prove it

Mitch McConnell wants voters in Kentucky to know something important: That he's likable. Really, really likable. So, to demonstrate just how authentically likable he is, his political team decided to surround him with cute, lovable dogs in his campaign's newest ad:

The only thing is, that's not a bunch of dogs: That's one or two, copy and pasted over and over. Obviously, the goal was to make Mitch seem warm, but it instead produced a weird, unnatural effect—perhaps we could call it the uncanine valley. On the bright side, at least Mitch didn't have to pay anyone to show enthusiasm: A handful of kibble is all it took.
if I lived in Kentucky I would feel insulted he is basically saying that they should like him in spite of what he wants to take away from them because dogs like him, they probably smeared him with bacon grease to get them to come near him,  he is more associated with reptiles, republican ads and campaigns never seem to be based on honesty.
