i've grown up in a world that has made it clear rights for some are the American way for others like myself just a pipe dream no justice just us. yes we elected a Black Pres. but that seems to have gone the way of the encyclopedia pictures and footnotes. where are those who thought this was what Pres. said "we are the change we've been waiting for", is that when it started to unravel the moment we had to do something when we thought it would be all on our starting quarterback and we just sit i the bleechers and drink beer and soda eat popcorn and ballpark franks.
if it's not worth fighting for you either really don't want it or rather not get your hands dirty let somebody else carry the ball. we should have been on point at the first racist, bigoted, racial insult made by Joe Wilson republican in the house chamber.

Today in things that drive certain people crazy: Openly gay sports-doer Michael Sam got picked in Saturday's NFL draft. He'll be going to the St. Louis Rams. And the worst possible thing, the thing that tipped the scales for some folks, allowing all of their anger and fury to spill out in a little puddle on the living room floor, was that after Michael Sam got picked the teevee showed him and his boyfriend sharing a kiss in celebration of the moment. For the sort of people who sit themselves down on Saturday to watch the NFL draft, at least some of them, at least the loudest ones, this was an abomination unto the sportball gods. Much to the surprise of the people televising it:
there are no freedoms that come without cost, women should not be raped because of what they wear, we know how much weight that carry's, people should not be shot and killed because of the color of their skin we've always seen that freedom violated, you can walk down any street this is America, yep you can but at your own peril, freedom is a steam trail from the hot coffee cup it's gone as fast as you see it.“When I got home last night and saw the attention (it was receiving), it kind of threw me,” [producer Seth Markman] said. “We’re a young production crew and quite honestly it was just another moment in the years we’ve done this.”“In the truck, we were only saying, ‘Wow, this is great emotion here.’ No one stepped up and said, ‘Oh, wow, do we really want to be showing this?’”
even the law that's suppose guarantee those freedoms are just smoke that gets in your eyes when you can see again what you thought was there is not. you know that to be true in recent deaths of innocents, republicans arming all their crazies, carry laws in church if you are going to church should you not believe that God will protect you? why do you need a gun, bars drunken rabble rousers now have an incentive to be even more brazen, these are freedoms for who the shooter or the shootee? wake up everybody!!! i think that he should have reframed from public expression knowing so many haters are still out there and on his team as well, freedom is a choice to have it and be responsible which means conscious that other will kill you if you exercise it, they see it as a third finger in the eye of their bigotry.
