Governor Rick Scott is standing by his misleading campaign ads that falsely suggest 300,000 people in the state have already lost their health insurance plans because of Obamacare.
The insurance company at the center of Scott’s ads, which he says are “clearly accurate,” says that Scott’s claim that 300,000 people have lost their plans is false. “To date, most of the members in our pre-ACA plans have kept their plans,” Florida Blue spokesman Paul Kluding said in a recent statement.
“It is important to note that the ‘300,000’ was a number that was being used when describing how many Florida Blue members could receive a notice that their policies would not be compliant with ACA requirements throughout all of 2014, if no extension was provided to these plans,” Kluding told Politifact in an e-mail. In actuality, only 40,000 letters were mailed to members with Jan. 1, 2014, effective dates. Subsequent notices were sent to these members notifying them that their existing plans would remain active and unchanged through 2014.”
will Fla. wake up and see they have been supporting a party that is inches away from their throats or are they just haters and want to exercise their rights to be racist bigots?  either way what they have been cheering will rain on their parade if republicans get back in.  you would think the older dependents of gov't help would talk and find out that it's not like their governor says it is and that all healthcare that comes with a small price tag or none at all comes from the gov't to them and they are biting the hand that helps them, all from a misleding republican.
Scott, visibly uncomfortable, stuck to his guns when challenged. “300,000 people were told they are going to lose their insurance. You got the CBO report on jobs that are going to be lost. We see the Medicare reductions that are paying for Obamacare. It’s absolutely accurate.”
Ah, yes, the much-discredited claim that jobs will be lost. In actuality, fewer people will have to continue to work, or will have to work fewer hours just to stay insured.  “To be clear, the CBO did not say jobs would actually be lost. It said workers could choose to work fewer hours to meet Obamacare requirements for coverage, CNN’s Carl Costello pointed out in May.
no hope for those whose state gov't refuses them and blames someone else that is trulytaking advantage for advantage by a crooked republican party.
