This morning, I made the mistake of watching Morning Joe as he railed against all things Obama. He selectively used the ABC/WAPO poll to enhance Obama's negatives and ignore the positives. Yes, Obama got a bounce to 46/50 when he was 41/56 in the November 2013 poll.The thing that got me the most is how he kept saying that Obama is getting a 37% approval on his handling of the Healthcare law. Everyone knows about the roll-out problems, that's not news.So Joe slowly moved to saying that only 37% of Americans "approve" of ACA in this ABC poll when the poll clearly reports a 47/48 approval. I saw his lies deepened and evolve right before my slightly closed eyes. So I did what should have been done earlier; which is go to the source.Sure enough, he lied through his teeth and was never challenged by the sheep who heard him.
this is my major objection to a show that has become "the fox and friends illegitimate cousins, they have these people lying about the topic mostly whatever the topic is the others at the table sit and allow right wing propaganda to bloom leaving some viewers with impression that they agree with the last point made by the right winger.
and not just morning j, other before reliable commentators who would not allow blatant rebuked lies to stand now are derelict in their obligation to report honestly and not leave dangling untruths that they themselves have reported with fact based reporting prior to this blindfolded and gagged episode of "which way is up".
we have not demanded of our media sources to be more responsible and aggressive with getting us the truth but they haven't and now those fence walkers can be pushed to the other side because by not reporting wrong info they feed the negative and starve the truth causing some to be susceptible to right wing rhetoric they hear it 24/ 7 we hear it when the mood strikes our reporters. they are failing us and giving an assist to a dying entity on the republican bench
