In a segment last week, Harris-Perry joked about the grandson while one panelist, actress Pia Glenn, sang “one of these things is not like the other” and comedian Dean Obeidallah sought to draw a parallel to the Republican Party's problems with diversity. The remarks drew heavy criticism from high-profile conservatives like Sarah Palin and Scott Brown.
Harris-Perry apologized on Twitter early last week, but criticism continued to mount, as both CNN and Fox News ran reports on the remarks.
In her apology on Saturday, Harris-Perry said she had intended to say "positive and celebratory things" about the photo.
i respect her apology i think fear of losing her job infused a lot more emotion than the apology itself. while i think she was sincere i still think it suspect anybody but them we know the are liars, deceivers and ambitious, through out his entire campaign he and wifey repeatedly showed their blue blood and never any real concern for people of color.
we know he still has aspirations for himself or one of his privileged offspring.  this also is around the party claim they were reaching out again and Romney is an over reacher just sayin.
c'mon folks the picture itself looks contentious, if he wanted to reach out he should have set up a scholarship or something that would truly make a statement. i just don't believe him or his family, could this just be a using of his son's adoption to show the family in a different light since Annie and Tagg might have aspirations yes phony "i wanted to be the first lady"
watch for the tick in Annies face first time she's questioned about the Black baby in the family, priceless
