Memoir complicates Afghan security deal

The mistrust between U.S. and Afghan officials deepened last week over revelations contained in former Defense Secretary Robert Gates’s new memoir, and Kabul’s release of prisoners the U.S. deems dangerous, raising new doubts about U.S. troops staying in the country beyond 2014.

i wrote awhile back about Iran talks and how we would have a chance if we could keep republican blowhards from ruining our chances by running their mouths in an effort to hurt the Pres. 

they instead instigate mistrust this is tantamount to what Snowden is doing it is deliberate and designed to throw that proverbial monkey wrench in the works. they want to hurt the Pres. but their actions hurt America which is you and i.

Excerpts from Gates’s memoir published Friday exposed attempts by then-U.S. Ambassador Richard Holbrooke to unseat Afghan President Hamid Karzai in 2009 presidential elections.

Afghan officials said the revelations were not new to them, but bolstered their belief that an agreement that would allow U.S. troops to remain in Afghanistan after their combat mission ends in 2014 should be signed only after the U.S. has complied to key requests.

“All the current problems between Kabul and Washington have roots in a deep mistrust between the two sides,” Aimal Faizi, Karzai’s spokesman, said in an interview with The Hill.

all part of the collective republican effort to make Pres. fail, they are doing this with no consideration to anything but "hurt Obama".  is this what you do when you politically and racially a first,  don't like the opposing Pres. you further destroy the country's image in the world, just like they want to blame Pres. erroneously about all their dirt and say ":the buck stops there" it also applies to the world stage and hinders our foreign policy effectiveness.

this is also like their evangelical preacher who burns Qurans and cause rebellions, if talks on all fronts fail they'll blame Pres. but we know who the destroyers are.

they are anti American, in their depraved obsession to take down the 2 time winner over them not including all the bills and initiates he's gotten by their iron curtain of obstruction.
