what is more abusive of gov't, giving you and your family affordable health care, fair wages, equal wages for women all things positive for women, or lying and trying to kill it and leave you in the greedy hands if ins. co.'s, favoring only the rich, suppress your vote, redraw districts to win in unelectable areas war on women and the poor, cutting food stamps letting kids and families starve, they lost the house by over a million votes and their skulduggery allowed them to stay on a technicality while they ran around talking about Americans re-elected them to the house with a smile more bald face lies.  smiling faces

Article PhotoOn Friday, House Republicans voted for legislation that would keep the government running in exchange for gutting Obamacare. While this was not the first time Republicans attempted to repeal Obamacare, but it may have been the craftiest. This is House Republicans' 42nd attempt at repealing Obamacare, either in part or in full.
Despite having failed 41 times already, they keep pushing for a repeal. At this point, they need to accept their many losses and move on.
In the days before Obamacare became a reality, healthcare reform actively engaged U.S. Senators on both sides of the aisle. In July 2009 however, midway through the period of bipartisan negotiating, Obama announced his support of an individual mandate.
This caused conservatives to recoil in terror and claim that this was a violation of individual liberty. Despite the conservative backlash, the bill was approved by both the House and Senate, and Obama signed it into law. Obamacare: 1. Republicans: 0.
you would think that with so much being done to repeal a law that the majority of people voted for in  2012, the republicans taking advantage of the ACA now and the 42 times they voted against it and failed should be a hint that what's wrong is not the law but those who have demonized it to the extent that people bought into it being the worse thing an abomination,
now with all the rejection to republican objection and continual lies they would figure out that a plan that is a legit law has to be better than no plan and no law backing after all how do you back or vote in favor of nothing?
Conservatives then took to the courts to proclaim Obamacare unconstitutional. After a variety of cases were brought to lower federal courts, the Supreme Court agreed to step in. It deemedthat Congress did not have the authority to strip pre-existing Medicaid funding from states that chose not to comply with Medicaid expansion, and limited Congress' ability to expand Medicaid in individual states. However, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the individual mandate when construed as a tax, which is central to Obamacare's functionality. Obamacare: 2. Republicans: 0.
Then, as Obama's term came to an end, Republicans set their hopes high. They fought to elect Mitt Romney, seize control of the Senate, and maintain control of the House for bringing about conservative-friendly healthcare reform. Indeed, the 2012 presidential election became, in many ways, "a fight over whether health insurance is a right or a privilege." We all know how this fight ended. On Nov. 6, 2012, Obama was reelected to a second term, and Democrats maintained control of the Senate, reaffirming the importance of construing healthcare as a human right. Obamacare: 3. Republicans: 0.
those of us who are informed know that they cannot name anything that republicans have done for the people in 5 years but deny us, the insanity of this relentless pursuit of repeal with no alternative reveals the disengenuous motives of the right wing that claim they are looking out for the poor and middle class when their recent history shows it to be false and their loyalty lies with big business.
these last two paragraphs are a view into the mindset of the republican party, note none of it is in our favor it is all attempts to restrict most of what you pay taxes for "SECURITY", now and later, they are trying to do to you what their new T-Party claimed was their mantle "taxation without representation", denying you everything is not representing your interest the right wing base's interest too. telling you what you need and want is not looking out for you it's restricting what they will give you in favor of their rich benefactors. recognize
