Article PhotoLawmakers begin a rare four-week home stand Monday — only their second of the year — and most of the focus is once again expected to be on scandal.
this has been their number one job going on 5 years now, we call them do nothing we should amend it to
"do nothing for "we the people" or country". i can't believe their base is that radical as to let them continue on this path of failure and hypocrisy to no end, they are suffering just like the rest of us.
guess party of stupid is all inclusive.
Wait a second: This is just the second four-week stretch of the year? Yes, it is indeed.
The last time the House and Senate met for four consecutive weeks without a recess was from Feb. 25 to March 21. Since then, lawmakers have left Washington for extended Easter, May Day and Memorial Day breaks. The next prolonged recess is scheduled for the week of July 4.
(And don’t forget: an official congressional “work week” lasts just four days when lawmakers are here in Washington.)
they are running the country because of the structure of gov't and votes and protcol, and don't forget gerrymandering we need to change it all, originally designed as a check and balance now corrupted into grid of mazes, if one side chooses not to nothing gets done evidenced last 4 1/2 years of obstruction, it's one thing to block a politician but a tiotally out of control to obstruct the entire motion of the country,
they lost and have the power to stymie us and half of us want to give them more, is it hatred of the Black Pres. or ring in the nose right wing base following their leaders lead or should i say mislead, yes i should.  if it is just hate based no good will ever come from that, the people will open that other eye one day, then they'll be sorry the pushed guns so hard poetic justice at it's best.
