wait a minute aren't these the obstructionist that have been beating Pres. up for not engaging earlier in Syria, and now that he's thought it out and is ready to do this they aren't ready to approve it?
are you seeing the inconsistency of their rants they change with the perceived opportunity to attack the Pres. no sincerity in any of them just red meat tainted with right wing ludicracy.
(CBS News) Members of Congress aren't likely to support a request from President Obama to send arms support to Syrian rebels, House Intelligence Chairman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., said Sunday on "Face the Nation," without a comprehensive outline of what the administration hopes to accomplish in the war-torn country.
"What is the plan? Where are we going in Syria? And what do you want to accomplish?" Rogers asked. "Some of the things that they've told us - told the Intelligence Committee - in the past doesn't comport with what they're presenting as the direction they want to go. So we've asked them to come up and say if we're going to move in this direction, you're going to have to come up with a more comprehensive plan."
this is just an attempt to set him up in case one of the things he list as agenda doesn't quite make their cut then it's bombs away on the Pres.
it's all about political posturing and knit picking, they have nothing of their own so they'll spend the time and our money trying to find a grain of salt worth of impropriety by this admin, in the mean while we stay stagnant and jobless because they are too busy trying to derail our gov't.
"It seems to me they have a great media strategy," Rogers said. "They don't have a great Syrian strategy, and I don't believe any of our members - and we had both Republicans and Democrats on the committee - express concern about where they think we are today, and where we think the administration wants to go.
"They've got a lot of explaining to do to come up and say, 'Here's our comprehensive plan on how we move forward on what is a catastrophic situation that's getting worse every single day in Syria,'" he continued.
after these last inquisitions are we really going to be that naive again and allow republican delays to be thrown back later as not moving fast enough more dead anything the can say happened not because they delayed but because Pres. acted too late.
and like the big spending lies when they were the final approval they again are holding the purse strings and will still blame Pres. for any consequence that might happen until they decide they can't hostage the Syrian involvement any longer without being revealed as the impediment to their problems, problem is they are being unveiled now we see through the elephant dung.
