The FBI and Secret Service are investigating a website that says it has hacked the first lady’s personal and financial information.
The website claims to have posted information for Michelle Obama, Vice President Biden and other government officials, as well as several celebrities, including Kim Kardashian.
The website said it had posted Social Security numbers, credit reports, home addresses and personal banking information, although the veracity of the information has not been confirmed.
if they posted it someone would have to have seen it, why give all but authenticity which i would think would be easy to find.  wonder if they find clasimant to be a liar what charges could they face?
In addition to Obama and Biden, the website claimed to reveal sensitive information for Attorney General Eric Holder, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, FBI Director Robert Mueller, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and a handful of celebrities, including Kardashian, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Ashton Kutcher, Donald Trump, Hulk Hogan, Mel Gibson and Britney Spears.
The information could be used to steal a person's identity and commit financial fraud.
Sara Faden, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department, confirmed that the information posted on the site about Police Chief Charles Beck was accurate.
isn't the idea of a posting be for as many as possible to see, if so why can't the big boys find it?  i would also think that some sort of identity protection would be on the veep and Michelle out of protocol given the delicate status of their positions.
