What Has Obama Done for Black People? Nothing

The Root) -- Rick Santorum once said that John F. Kennedy's 1960 address on religious freedom made him want to "throw up." But with the notable exception of the former senator and onetime GOP presidential contender, it would be tough finding a Catholic American who'd look back on the tenure of our first Catholic president and assess that he didn't do enough for Catholics.
But there's no shortage of folks who say that President Barack Obama -- our first black president -- hasn't done enough for African Americans. So to help them out, I'll sum up exactly what Obama has done for black people
Nothing. And that's exactly the way it should be
"we the people of color" are just as fickle as the rest of the electorate we are indifferently voting or not for reason's that only hurt the very things we are claiming we aren't getting. to suggest that the Pres. would or should vote in all the things we feel we have been deprived of under white ruling influence's. how long do you think it would have been before he would have been deposed, sanctioned and any of the old way's of dealing with those who ascended to that "uppity state of being", 15 mins.?
He rips Obama for the "disparities in the criminal justice system; the disproportionate impact of the foreclosure crisis on communities of color; black unemployment; and the persistence of HIV/AIDS," writing that "even as we watch him go out of his way to lift up other marginalized groups (such as gay Americans) and call for policies that help everyone, we've accepted his silence on issues of particular interest to us."
On Sunday the Post's Jonathan Capehart offered an exhaustive rebuttal to Harris, pointing out that Obama ramped up his Office of National AIDS Policy, signed the Fair Sentencing Act and created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau -- needed, arguably, by black mortgage holders more than anyone.
what are we doing we finally get here then we turn into them, we want it all for ourselves, is that what the people really want. the Pres. can not do it alone any Pres. cannot do it alone.
in our quest for equally to be as reprehensible as the right wing what we have forgotten is Obama said, "yes we can" not "yes i can" so we tend to talk crap about what he isn't doing instead of out there supporting what he has done, can result in the right wing back in place laughing at how stupid thinking we are, is that better then the first Black Pres. that didn't open all the jails and free your uncle Mike?  recognize as they the right has ignored we are not the only American's.

have we become a me me race have we turned our backs on those of color who have by being in a certain column benefited from his efforts and the things that some of us have not attained yet but will be there when we do, because of him? turning against him now is a sealing of our own fate and things go back and we wait another God knows how many years before we get a Black Pres. who will only look out for Blacks, but there's no joy, because we are all dead and stinkin' by then. don't be as we have been be as we need to be to keep us there when we arrive.
