GOP front runner Donald Trump and his supporters seem to know something the rest of the country is just now catching on to.
When asked by KING 5 why she was supporting Trump, New Yorker Karen Bruno said it’s because she’s angry. But further, she said she was so angry at the way things are going in this country, that it doesn’t matter what Trump says — he still has her support.
“I think the more he riles up the establishment, the better I like it. So, He really can’t say anything wrong. Because every time he makes them upset, the more I like it, because I’m so angry,” she told KING 5 outside Trump Tower in New York. “I think the establishment is in cahoots to bring this country down…I don’t know what they’re doing…they’re not making it better.”
Other Trump supporters seem to share her sentiment and Trump knows it. On Saturday, he bragged that he could kill someone in cold blood and still maintain his lead.
“They say I have the most loyal people,” Trump said, “Where I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s like incredible.”
“I think the Democrats have underestimated the anger of the conservatives of this country, really underestimated the anger,” Bruno said.
Indeed, some of Trump’s comments have earned him condemnation by his own party. Last week, Trump retweeted a Hitler-loving white supremacist to take a dig at Jeb Bush.
In the past he’s made comments about banning Muslim people from entering the country, which flies contrary to the Constitution, and has made blanket statements calling Mexican people criminals and rapists. None of this has impacted his performance in the polls.
what this shows is the ignorance of the Trumpeteers as Palin called them, that is the most stupid thing i've heard in the last 24 hrs. to think or not think it's actually a great way to choose your leader is to gauge how angry he can provoke you to be?????? do they realize who is feeding them the angry pills and the overwhelming majority of it are lies??? what do they do when they elect him and nothing changes for them except their lives get worse sit in a corner shut up and suck their thumbs???????
