Like any good patriot, Sarah Palin chose to honor Martin Luther King Jr. today by posting on Facebook. Also like any good patriot, she chose the occasion to whitesplain to President Barack Obama how Martin Luther King Jr. is best honored by having the president no longer say anything at all about black Americans.
Happy MLK, Jr. Day!
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." – Martin Luther King, Jr.
Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.
Given that there has been absolutely nothing Barack Obama has ever said that even touched on race in America that did not have pasty far-right conservatives up in arms over how it was playing the race card, we are left to presume that him speaking on the subject at all is against the wishes of Martin Luther King Jr., at least as channelled by American healing force Sarah Palin.
Surely, racism must be over now.
White bigots and racist know it's not respecting when you rant things that are 180 degrees away from the person you are supposed to be honoring White privilege gets you quite a few things but it doesn't let you get away with that.  her candlelight is dimming she's trying to put another match to it but the reality of her ignorance precedes her and republican voters are starting to realize they have been played.
