Birmingham police officer's medal in doubt as dashcam reveals he almost murdered suspect

The footage is pretty clear. Police officer Daniel Aguirre shoots Aubrey Williams, while Williams is on all fours. This is the end of a criminal incident from back in April of 2014—an incident that resulted in Officer Aquirre receiving some kind of medal for being good at his job. It is, to my eyes, pretty obvious that Officer Aguirre shouldn't be allowed to have guns and that's what Williams' lawyer is saying:
Aguirre and Officer Richard Haluska had been looking for suspects in a robbery when they encountered Williams and Brown. Police had said that during the incident Haluska and the man later identified as Brown were struggling when Aguirre drew his Taser and struck Brown. Aguirre then shot Williams after Williams had pointed a gun at both officers and refused an order to drop his weapon, police said.
Williams was shot twice and survived. He faces two attempted murder charges related to the incident.
Williams' attorney says the dash-cam video, which was obtained by AL.com through a confidential source and published Wednesday evening, shows that Williams did not point a gun at the officer.
The police department, while temporarily rescinding Aquirre's medal, are still spinning this video as proof of how dangerous police work can be. This is very true, police work can be very dangerous—Williams and Brown, based on some reports, don't seem to be particularly safe guys to be around—but as you can see in the video, this police officer doesn't even look like he holds a gun like someone who knows how to use a gun, let alone someone who is supposed to be an expert in using lethal force.
The video is below the fold. WARNING: It is graphic.
this can be considered as good to expose an already exposed officer of doing what dash cam shows him doing back when they were high fiving and pinning medals but it's election time again and things like this were fine for over a year and a half now somebody has a attack of conscious and wants to serve up justice late.  IMO people running for office need to have a more diverse voting base so in doing this is suppose to influence Blacks to vote for them because they are pursuing justice for a White cop's indiscretion???????????????????  p;lease proceed because you don't know us.
