He continued, “Now. Am I trying to blame him? I’m not blaming anybody. But the World Trade Center came down, so when he said we were safe, that’s not safe. We lost three thousand people, it was one of the greatest — probably the greatest — catastrophes ever in this country, if you think about it.”
Asked by Wallace what he would have done, Trump turned to one of his favorite topics: immigration.
“Well I would have been much different, I must tell you,” Trump explained. “It somebody said, ‘Well, it wouldn’t have been any different,’ well, it would have been. I am extremely, extremely tough on illegal immigration. I’m extremely tough on people coming into this country. I believe if I was running things, I doubt those families would have — I doubt those people would have been in the country. So there is a good chance those people would have not been our country.”
Trump went on to say that he doesn’t blame former President Bush for 9/11, but added that he didn’t want to hear Jeb Bush saying, “My brother kept us safe,” before he added, “September 11 was one of the worst days in the history of this country.”
again no substantive response and more double taking and self aggrandizing they spend so much time on one liners and not so witty banter about everything but the original topic. his top of the heap is a testimony of how republican base will buy anything even a pig in a wig no lipstick. if it were not so dangerous we should put him or any of them in the big chair tomorrow and watch America dissolve like potassium chloride was dumped from border to border.
