Sherri Aaron, the wife of a Texas Police Chief, is trying to raise awareness of a new, pro-law enforcement movement. Thanks to AM talk radio, Fox News and, even mainstream media outlets, the demonizing of Black Lives Matter (BLM) has begun.
The wives are shown making blue ribbons to spread all over town, to remind people that 'Blue Lives Matter' too. Just last week, Fox 'News' labeled BLM 'A Murder Movement.' A woman organizing the proliferation of blue ribbons is only a story because it provides Fox 'News' another opportunity to denigrate BLM.
Chief, Tracy Aaron of the Mansfield, PD, admits that recruitment of new officers is significantly down, and of course this is all the fault of BLM. Fox and Friends' weekend blonde, Anna Kooiman, claims that the 'nasty rhetoric' from the Minnesota BLM march and all BLM activities incite cop killings. Her whole case is based on the wrongful assumption that what was said at the rally was provocative.
Black Lives Matter activist Trahern Crews, from St. Paul, Minnesota, appeared on MSNBC on Sept. 1 to explain the chant, "Pigs in a blanket, fry ‘em like bacon” made by some activists during a protest at the Minnesota State Fair on Aug. 29.
Sherri is so excited the city has come together to hand out blue ribbons. The sense of community and support for the police makes all the folks in the majority White city feel fuzzy and warm.
But let's not forget that faux movements like "All Lives Matter" (and now Police Lives Matter) really seek to de-legitimize the Black Lives Matter movement. Blaming the victim is something the Right has been doing for decades and they will continue to do it as long as they exist.
Black person or org. making noise and getting attention must be attacked and denigrated so that it doesn't spread but not just to us but those reasonable White American citizens who see through the white sheet rhetoric. it is a staple in the suppression agenda of anything that makes a difference to them.
they are trying to recreate the bogeyman of old scare tactic 101, no matter the relevance of the statement they must counter it with their own self serving nothing to do with claim of police lives matter.
on Fox today a police chief was asked about it he immediately went to Black on Black crime and dismissing the fact of police murdering Black citizens and addressing cops killed.
