That is the word reported by the Guardian | May 8, 2015
Officers being prosecuted over death of Freddie Gray threaten to sue Baltimore’s top prosecutor for arresting them, as they demand she step down from their case
The Cops are very insulted and angry and are demanding reparations for this outrage:
In an extraordinary 109-page motion, the officers’ lawyers said all six may sue Mosby and mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake for arresting and detaining them unless the city pays them tens of thousands of dollars in damages. They accused Mosby in sharply personal terms of breaching the US constitution, the Maryland declaration of rights, and her professional code.
Never mind Freddie Gray's broken neck, 80% severed spine and subsequent death due to the injuries sustained at the hands of the Baltimore police department while in custody..
Never mind Freddie Gray's broken neck, 80% severed spine and subsequent death due to the injuries sustained at the hands of the Baltimore police department while in custody..
.. Baltimore city state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby completely bungled her announcement of the charges:
The motion requested the charges be dropped alleging the statement of charges and arrest warnings on May 1 were not filed by the state's attorney's office, as they should by law, but instead from the Baltimore City's Sheriff's Office
Furthermore according to police lawyers, weeks after Freddie Gray's arrest and death from his injuries, states attorney Marilyn Mosby rushed to judgment:
It alleged too little time elapsed on 1 May between the filing to court of an application for criminal charges and warrants being issued for their arrests.
this is the epitome of audacity of arrogance, they need to all get life in general population.  get paid for failure to follow rules and resulting in a death ant they are insulted and angry??  their manic cop syndrome is worse than first thought and the charges should be thrown out along with the lawyer that brought them.  this is the denial of responsibility by law enforcement that law affects them and their accountability.  if evidence points to you as a murderer your right to a speedy trial is not if you chose to apply it, justice must be swift and decisive and served.
