you have to read this not so much as it is a confession of what we already know but it comes off as pointless no direction fumbling of disjointed words. i know Matthews has this way of asking a question than changing it several times before the person gets to answer. but what stuck out for me was his saying or not saying that he was responsible for allowing Cheyney/Bush to corrupt what he told them without concern for the ramifications, thousands dead and wounded but more concerned about his job.
this is what is created by constant interruption by a host that seems more interested in saying what he wants than getting an answer, reminiscent of O'Reilly. i used to like him until i realized what he was doing and not getting out anything other than his thought it was shortchanging the viewers and not hardball but more whiffle ball that spends out of control when thrown all over the place should not be a goal of any talk show unless it's comedy, "who's on first"???
