Today's New York Times takes a nostalgic look back at 2016 Republican hopeful Sen. Ted Cruz's time as a master debater while in college, which includes this little nugget that's described as an "attempt at humor":
In one debate, he proposed a method to detect infidelity, in which God should “give women a hymen that grows back every time she has intercourse with a different guy, because that will be a ‘visible sign’ of the breach of trust ..."
So, a show of hands: Who thinks Cruz was kidding?was he trying to make himself feel better about not being first, is this an issue with his marriage???/s
