Maine Gov. Paul LePage is an oily buffoon, but this was still unexpected:
Governor LePage's town hall-style meeting ended suddenly Thursday after the former mayor of Biddeford, Joanne Twomey, interrupted the governor and tossed a jar of Vaseline near him.
Twomey, who is also a former state representative, explained that she chose Vaseline because the Republican governor once said of Democratic state Sen. Troy Jackson that he "claims to be for the people but he’s the first one to give it to the people without providing Vaseline." (In fact, Vaseline should not be used as a sexual lubricant.)
