Even if US drops Iran sanctions, don't count on these 25 states to follow

Once Iranian diplomats finish negotiating with the United States, France, Britain, and others to lift sanctions over the country's nuclear program, they might need to negotiate with the state of New York.
The future of international sanctions against Iran for its nuclear program remains a major sticking point in negotiations between the United States, Iran, and the P5+1 nations – China, Russia, France, Germany, and Britain. But whatever the international powers do, about two dozen states in America are unlikely to bow to Tehran's wishes.
In all, 25 states and Washington, D.C., have their own sanctions in place against Iran, and two states – Kansas and Mississippi – are considering introducing new sanctions, according to Reuters.
i don't know who is responsible for this mutiny against the Pres. it's a bet that republicans and right wing business has both hands and feet in the jackpot, are the people in those 25 states including DC where i live and are opposed to meddling in affairs they were not elected to do?  we have this push by congress to include them IMO they were left out originally because for 6 years they did nothing but pledge allegiance to the factions trying to make him fail,

they have done nothing indicating they are fair minded or capable of putting the country's interest first they collude with foreign leaders they deny loyalty to the gov't and or leader so why should they be included they already tried to wreck the talks twice inviting Netanyahu Israeli saber waver and sending a derogatory letter of defiance to Pres.'s attempts to seek a peaceful solution without our kids dying in the process.   now this another declaration of defiance to gov't and or Pres.  this is why republicans want to return power to states so they can go rogue and do what they want whether it helps the people or the not.
In most cases, the sanctions involve a state government directing its public pension funds to divest from firms that work with Iranian companies. New York, for its part, bans state and local governments from doing business with companies that invest in Iran's energy sector. Many of these measures, however, are not related to Iran’s nuclear activity, expiring only if the country is no longer designated to be supporting terrorism.
Though state pensions involve billions of dollars, the states' actions are largely symbolic.
“To me [divestments] always seemed a lot more of an emotional thing, meaning, ‘I’m not going to have my money go to these people,’ ” says Richard Nephew, a program director at the Columbia University Center on Global Energy Policy.
Divestments don't stop private companies from investing in Iran, though they create a disincentive.
“If you decided to no longer invest in Apple because Apple were selling iPhones in Iran, do you think Apple are not going to be able to find somebody else to provide investment?” says Mr. Nephew.
if the action is mostly symbolic that too leads to a more deceptive plan to make these claims of divestment but still like dark money in our elections they still can invest in Iran rather two face i would think.  keep in mind those investing in those states are private and make money through the gov't doing business with them so if they are forbidden to do business with Iran big business just changes strategy and the beat goes on.  like the guy says if one won't buy or sell there is always another who will politics and big business make strange bedfellows. recognize
