Cartoon: Stop or we'll shoot!

The grisly cell phone video of the shooting in North Carolina of 50 year old Walter Scott, an unarmed fleeing black man by white policeman Michael T. Slager has lead to the officer being charged rightfully with murder. We know what would have happened if there had been no video of this street execution. Hopefully there won't be too many more unwarranted police shootings, but if there are, video surveillance of the police may help stop this crime wave by violent cops.
i have mixed feelings about this on one hand we have seen multiple violations by police due to American camera phone owners most have only drawn attention to the farce called justice for all that is another example of the audacity of arrogance in those video's the cops never look around to see if they are being caught on candid camera they just go about shooting or pummeling to their hearts content.

on the eve of body cams which i think so many safeguards need to be in place to assure we the people they can't be tampered with, going as far as someone of rank daily turning them on at roll call and no ability to turn them off till shift ends, detectives too not sure how that works but it's workable if law enforcement is serious.

my other concern is for the one filming or taking the pic if a cop is killing someone and sees you filming it toss up as to whether he tries to make you believe him or your lying eyes or are those persons subject to the wrath of a rogue cop. my advise be smart i remember coming up people saying things like "they can't do that", or daring cars to hit them while jaywalking, we know courts are not necessarily our friend so thinking suing will lift you up might be what lowers you down in the ground and a cop killing or beating someone already in submission to a bloody pulp is obviously not officer friendly.

i applaud his acts but sometimes a hero is nothing but a sandwich or a statistic. recognize
