Conservative media figures issued apocalyptic warnings and predictions about the consequences of passing health care reform. Yet in the five years since President Obama signed the bill into law, the number of uninsured Americans has dropped by the largest amount in four decades, insurers can no longer deny coverage for preexisting conditions, and the Congressional Budget Office estimates that Obamacare subsidies will cost $209 billion less than projected.

if you followed reputable news outlets and even this blog you know all this red meat trash was just mind farts by various republicans following the talking points de jour, all designed to dissuade us from engaging in the revolutionary healthcare law this country has ever seen. i used to think it was a fight for insurance company status quo but since they are happy and profiting off the law it has to be something else driving this farce perpetrated on we the people by the right wing republicans, now i'm considering what maybe should have been the obvious preventing the first Black President from passing such a tremendous endeavor for all the people breaking several records and among those the defeat of the discriminating republican party for the betterment of America and it's people.
