Pope Francis, Pope of Popes, ain't taking no shit from U.S. conservatives who say he is pushing communism, not compassion:
Some U.S. conservatives have branded the first Latin American pope a Marxist for his frequent critiques of consumerism and focus on a church "that is poor and for the poor." But in an interview contained in a new book, Francis explains that his message is rooted in the Gospel and has been echoed by church fathers since Christianity's first centuries.
He went on to say:
"Caring for our neighbor, for those who are poor, who suffer in body and soul, for those who are in need: this is the touchstone. Is it pauperism? No. It is the Gospel."
And:
"As we can see, this concern for the poor is in the Gospel, it is within the tradition of the church, it is not an invention of communism and it must not be turned into some ideology, as has sometimes happened before in the course of history," an apparent reference to the Latin American-inspired liberation theology.
Bless your little, greedy, conservative hearts, but Pope Francis is on a mission of compassion, not communism.
it's like i said the White man has a God complex, they change the meaning of the Bible which by defaults rewrites the word of God, they cheer preachers or should i say purveyors of hate who disrespect other religions and help to promote the hate of other nations toward America which they deny if they admitted it they would be forced to put a sock in the mouths of the those who disrespect God whatever he is called. they claim any resistance is violating their right to religious freedom while they do to the rest of the world just that.
i knew the first time i heard Pope Frankie that they would attack and try to invalidate him because his and our God does not dwell in the house of conservatives not all put those who promote bigotry and hate and racism pray for him those people are capable of anything. i'm not Catholic but i believe God sent us the right one.
